Light like water - original lamps
One of my favorite stories is “Light is Everything”"Like Water," by Gabriel García Márquez. In it, two boys discovered that they could summon a stream of electricity from a broken light bulb in their apartment, just like a faucet. The house turned into lakes of liquid light, where the boys floated on a small raft. I wonder if this is how Márquez imagined liquid light? These are beautiful and very original lampsare owned by Liquid Light, designed by Tanya Clarke. Each lamp is unique, hand-assembled from old plumbing pipes, glass drops and LED bulbs.During the daytime, such a lamp can be acceptedfor the original sculpture - an unusual room decor. But just click the switch - and the room will be filled with soft flowing light, really reminiscent of water. The lamps not only perform a functional anddecorative role, but also carry a visual reminder that water, as a valuable natural resource, must be preserved and protected. It can be said that LED lamps glow with environmental awareness!Plus, 5% of the sales of the lamps go to organizations that work on global water issues around the world. These three lamps would look great in the bathroom, right? It's a pity that Marquez didn't see these creations of light, because it seems that they came straight from his imagination...
