3D figures of beads - a wonderful wayPractice, master new techniques of beading, and you can please children with a new keychain or toy. The lizard can be made in two ways: in the technique of flat or three-dimensional weaving. The first option is simpler, but the volume lizard will turn out quite like a living one. We will try to weave it on the master class.

Necessary materials

First of all, you need seed beads. You can choose any color: make a lizard or just like it is, or fantastic. Why not? To begin with, you can make a single-colored figure, and only then study the creation of a color, with transitions of color. Beads should be small enough, it is better to take two sizes, for example №8 and №10. Too large beads for work do not fit - this figure will not hold. The main condition - the beads should be beautiful and bright, so that the lizard turned bright and cheerful.

For work you will need:

10 g of basic beads (for example, green);
5 g of beads of a close shade, to create color transitions on the back;
5 g of light beads for the abdomen.

In addition to work will need 4 brightBeads of size 10 - for the design of the eyes and nostrils. The color should be chosen in such a way that it contrasts better with the main one - otherwise the muzzle of the lizards will turn out to be "blind".
A thin, strong fishing line is required for the base. If it is not, you can use the usual sewing thread, but with them the figure can turn out not strong enough and strong. If the thread will be used in the work, then it will be necessary to take a needle - thin enough to easily pass through the holes of the beads. To create a volume lizard, it is better to use a strong, but sufficiently thin wire. A ready-made voluminous lizard made of beads is often stuffed with filler, it can be replaced with regular polyethylene, it must also be stocked before starting work. With him, the finished figure will look better, and it will fit perfectly as a toy. Cellophane can also be replaced by crumpled paper.
Cut the thread with scissors or clippers.
But the most important thing that is needed for work is patience. There is nothing complicated in weaving lizard, but it can be difficult for beginners to work with small material for beginners.

Highlights of work

Before you make a lizard of beads you need to determine the basic techniques that we will use in the work.

To get a three-dimensional figurine of a lizard, we will use the technique of parallel weaving. For ease of operation, the other parts can be weaved separately and then attached to the body.
If you need to connect two strands at work, it is better to do this with a nodule: so it will be easier to hide the tips in the bead hole.

It is also easy to navigate in the necessary footage of the line and the order of the weaving of the parts. In the same place, all the color transitions are marked. For weaving our lizard we will use the following scheme:

First, we measure the length of the used wire (wire), it should be no more than 3 m.
The weaving of the lizard begins with a spout. We'll weave both the upper and lower parts. The upper part in the diagram is odd, the lower is even. We perform in the technique of parallel weaving, guided by the scheme in the order of the rows and the color change. At the same time, we do not forget the upper rows to slightly bend upwards, and leave the lower one even, so that we have a three-dimensional figure.

When the body of the lizard is completely ready (after the 36thSeries according to the scheme), it is packed with paper or polyethylene. Further, we continue to weave the tail of the lizard according to the scheme in exactly the same way as the trunk to the end. The ends of the thread or wire are twisted, if necessary, carefully cut.
Next you need to weave the paws. To do this, we take another thread 80 cm long. Pretty in the same way, parallel weaving. We finish by weaving "fingers". They can be made with needle weaving. On the line we string 5 beads and let the line back through everything except the last one. We repeat this method four more times. If you want to highlight "fingers", you do not need to choose beads for this, contrasting with the main color.
There should be 4 identical legs in total. The finished parts are attached to the trunk as shown in the diagram. The forelimbs are to the lower part at the level of 20 and 24 rows, the rear are 38 and 42nd.
We attach paws, fix the fishing line and cut it with scissors, we mask the tips inside the lizard. The lizard of beads is ready. Remains only to decorate it, beautifully bending paws and a long tail.
If something does not work out, do not despair and throw beadwork: the technique is fairly simple for beginners, so you can master the weaving quickly enough.
The finished lizard can become a wonderful charm, a suspension on the phone. And it can become just a nice souvenir, because a lizard symbolizes prosperity and well-being.
