Magnets with cock and chicken do it yourself: master class
Magnet "Cock" (and to him in a couple - chicken) - isa wonderful gift for the New Year (after all, the symbol of the New Year 2017 will be none other than the rooster!), and at Easter. Chickens are the traditional way for Easter presents. The undeniable advantage of creating such a souvenir is the speed of its manufacture. The main part of the work falls on the embroidery. However, the motive is so simple, and the canvas is so large that it is not work, but sheer pleasure. We have made do-it-yourself paired magnets - undoubtedly, they will bring love and mutual understanding to any home on which refrigerator they will live. It does not matter on what grounds you combine the magnets in pairs: it can be the same color of the birds, or it can be the same background. So let's get started.
To do your own magnets with the image of cockerels and chickens, you need:
plastic canvas; floss threads of different colors; sheet magnet; glue (gun or superglue); scissors (small and bigger); printed diagram of the rooster and chicken (see below).
Scheme for embroidery magnet with cock
All cockerels and chickens have identical beaks (rich yellow) and red scallops and barbs in roosters. To enlarge the scheme and save, click on the picture. You must have noticed that both the rooster andchicken on the schemes look the same way. To look at each other, wrap one of the diagrams in a mirror image. As you can see from the finished photo magnets, my cockerels are looking in different directions. So it seemed to me more interesting, especially when not one pair lives on the refrigerator, but a whole chicken coop.
Embroidered magnets with cockerels and chickens: a master class
We embroider paired figures of cockerels and chickens. Be sure to calculate the distance between the figures in such a way that after cutting the plastic canvas into separate magnets, each embroidered rectangle will receive a plastic frame. I have cockerels and chickens of three colors: white, red and lilac; Background - black, white and green. After embroidering the figures, I sewed the background so that the rectangle was completely covered with crosses. We cut the sheet of the canvas into separate magnets with cockerels and hens. Each trimmed with sharp scissors (the canvas is cut well) so that there are no spikes from the "weaves" of the canvas. We select colors to the frame of each magnet. I decided that the frame should be the same color as the bird depicted on the magnet. We sheathe the edge of each magnet around the perimeter. In one hole I had to make 2-3 stitches so that the base of the canvas could not be seen. All magnets are embroidered. The point behind the mount. My role of leaf magnets is played by the same magnetic photo frames. Therefore, I simply turned it upside down with a magnet (respectively, with a paper piece up), attached an embroidered rectangle to it and draped it around with a pencil. She cut out the magnetic blank, scrolled the corners and made sure that in the future the edges of the sheet magnet did not protrude beyond the edges of the plastic canvas. Along the perimeter of the purl of the sheet magnetApply glue, quickly apply the embroidered rectangle and leave it under the heavy book - to stick together. In half an hour, or even earlier, magnets with cocks and hens can be taken out from under the press and enjoy the results of their work. Magnets with the symbol of the year, the cockerel and his little wife - the chicken - are ready. In our master class to do it yourself is more than easy. Enjoy your creativity!
