The use of audio cassettes has already sunk into oblivion. But, probably, someone has a collection of tapes with audio recordings of favorite performers, which is a pity to throw. Why not get all the cassettes from the lockers and not put them on display, in the most prominent place? Designers of the OOOMyDesign studio offer to make original lamps themselves from audiocassettes. Make audio and video cassettes floor and tablelamps, ceiling lights and sconces is simple enough. Cassettes are connected with bright cords, leather strips or plastic bands, forming a cube shape, and inside this lamp is placed a light bulb. Such a lamp shade can be made for everyone by audio-cassettes with their own hands. Light pours through the openings of the cassettes, as well as through the cassettes themselves, if they are made of translucent plastic. These lamps are just one of many items in the project called cassetteisnotdead (cassettes are not dead). You can even send your cassettes to designers and get back a handmade gift made from them!
