A volumetric snowflake made using origami technique, will be a wonderful decoration of a window or a room in winter, especially for the New Year holidays. It will take a little more time to make than a simple snowflake, but the result of a hand-made product will please you with its aesthetics. Origami is an ancient art form that invariably attracts the attention of residents of different countries. Various paper figures are distinguished by their originality. The origami technique involved the use of only a square sheet of paper, but over time, it has improved and some of its types allow the use of scissors, glue, paper clips in creating products. The result exceeds all expectations. In the origami technique, you can make any figurine of a bird, animal, object. Today we will try to understand how to make a three-dimensional snowflake with your own hands, made using the origami technique. This is not such a simple process of work as in the case of an ordinary simple snowflake, and it will take much more time. If you are making a snowflake for the first time, then be prepared that you will need about an hour of time. Subsequent items will be much easier and faster to make. As a result, you will be able to please yourself with a beautiful, delicate symbol of winter. Important! The thinner the paper you choose, the more delicate and graceful the finished product will be. The first stage of the work will be turning a sheet of paper, rectangular or square, into a regular hexagon. This determines how successful the craft will be. First, you need to fold the paper in half twice so that the folds are clearly visible. Then bend one of the corners to the central part and bend the flap down from above, as in the photo.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo №1Fold the paper in half again, and then as shown in the picture.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo # 2Bend the flap according to the picture below to end up with a shape that resembles a heart.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Picture №3We cut off the part of our figure marked in blue, since to make a snowflake we only need a hexagonal figure.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo №4One side of the hexagon must be bent towardscenter - you will get another fold line. We do the same with the rest of its sides. As a result, small triangles are formed. According to the previous folds, we bend all the edges of the hexagon towards the center. As a result, you will get a figure that looks like a pinwheel. The valve formed last will be hidden, so it must be pulled out so that all the valves stick out.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo №5You don't need to press too hard with your finger on each pocket or its fold.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo №6On each of the pockets, you need to bend two corners to create fold lines for further work.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo №7Next, we perform the manipulations as shown in the picture.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo №8We turn over our workpiece and each cornerbend to the central part. A small flap forms each fold. There is no need to hide the flap under the fold. Do not press the fold lines of all the flaps too hard. Turn out all the folds that were made at the previous stage, the flaps are hidden. Turn the part over and turn each corner further. As a result, we have twelve flaps, six of which are large and six are smaller. Turn the product over again and push all the small flaps forward. You will get diamonds, six pieces. We carry out further actions as shown in the photo.A three-dimensional snowflake made in origami technique. Photo Number 9A beautiful volumetric snowflake made using origami technique is ready.
