A master class with a description and a photo will tell you how to create your own hands a knitted Christmas tree
The New Year is coming soon.This is a magical and kind holiday. All supermarkets have long had a variety of New Year's products on their shelves. But if you make New Year's decorations with your own hands - then they will turn out not only exclusive, but also a little magical and very cozy and homey. This master class shows how to make a beautiful New Year's tree using wire, threads and a hook.To work on the tree we will need:
- green threads, any will do – cotton, viscose, microfiber, etc.;
- a hook corresponding to the threads;
- wire;
- beads for decoration;
- sheet of cardboard;
- double-sided adhesive tape or glue;
- needle.
First, let's roll a sheet of cardboard into a cone. This cone will be the base on which we will form our Christmas tree.Glue a strip of double-sided tape to one edge of the cardboard and tear off the protective layer.Now we roll the cardboard into a cone and cut everything off.extra so that it can stand on the table. We will start winding the wire in a spiral on the cone, it is better to take not very hard wire so that it is easy to form.We form a Christmas tree of the height we need.Then we remove it from the paper cone.We make a loop at the bottom and top using round-nose pliers.Next we will tie up the Christmas tree.The binding will consist of two rows. The first row is simple columns, without a yarn over. We begin to bind the tree from below, but not at the very loop of wire, but slightly stepping back from it.The binding slides well along the wire – so during the knitting process we simply move the loops upwards.While you can unwind the spiral – it will still get wrinkled during the knitting process. You need to tie it tightly enough so that the wire does not show through.When the posts no longer fit on the wire – the first row is finished.Now the second row. These will be columns containing one yarn over. We knit them into each column of the first row.Here it is more convenient to bend the wire a little and knit, as if climbing a hill.You should end up with a slightly wavy skirt.Now we can fix our Christmas tree by re-forming it on the cone.It's time to decorate. Take acrylic beads in the form of droplets and with the same threads or threads of the same color sew the beads to the tree. You need to sew a little loosely so that the beads hang. The transition from bead to bead can be done inside the binding, without cutting the thread.Step back a little and sew on a second bead of a different color.And so we decorate the whole tree. At the top we bend the loop and glue a round acrylic bead.
