Master class of creating a New Year's craft for oneself - a boot for gifts.
The New Year is racing towards us, and with itPre-Christmas efforts - preparation of the festive menu, the decor of the house, as well as the preparation of New Year's gifts. And the last point, as a rule, takes the most time and energy, because you want to not just please your relatives and loved ones with the desired and desired thing, but also make it somehow unusual, in a fairy tale. Surely both children and adults will like the original packaging in the form of a boot that can be filled to the top with sweets and other sweets or put a bottle of fine alcohol in it. And yet such a boot can become a stylish New Year decoration of your home, in general, the right thing, which you can make with your own hands is not difficult. How exactly? Read below in my master class with detailed descriptions and photos. 
For the New Year's boot, we will need:
- sheet felt color;
- satin ribbon is thin;
- sewing needle;
- colored threads of floss or reel threads;
- scissors;
- paper;
- simple pencil.
Progress. We begin to work with the sketch of our boot, it can be made in different shapes. Most often, these products are in the form of felt boots, a master class of one of them is already on my page of this site. However, the boots with the decorative curled nose are more original and unusual, this is what we are drawing, and we make sketches of the future decor on it. 
From paper cut out the sketch on the contour and transfer it to the sheet felt of the primary color, folded in half. At us this fabric of a pleasant blue shade. 
Carefully cut out from the felt two completely identical parts of the future boot. 
Cut out decorative pieces of feltelements that will decorate our craft. In addition to the originally invented design, in the process I decided to add a snowman figure in the hat, we also cut it out. After that we have all the details on the front front part of the product, as we plan to sew them. 
We start from the top of the boot, we sew to itthe first decorative element, so that the product is brighter and more elegant, we select the color of the contrasting color. For sewing we use the usual "needle forward" seam, we try to make the stitches equal, of medium size. 
Precisely on the same principle, sew two more decorative details on the toe and heel of the boot. 
Now go to the implementation of the snowman's application, we sew it, like all the other elements, and decorate the snowman's hat with a piece of satin ribbon of the right color. 
Threads of a black mulina embroider snowman eyes in the form of two identical small snowflakes, we embroider a mouth and we sew a nose-carrot. 
The lacing of our boots is done with a thin satin ribbon, sewn with a seam "needle forward", decorated with a small volumetric bow. 
When decorating our boot will befinished, you can go directly to its stitching. To do this, we perfectly connect both parts along the edge face up and stitch them using the suture seam, while trying to make the same stitches. 
Finishing touch. In the upper right corner we sew to the boot a small loop, formed from a thin satin ribbon, thanks to which our product can be hung even on a twig of a festive Christmas tree.
