Master class with photo and description will teach crochet crochet, which will be understandable for beginners too
I'm a lazy knitter. And I am especially lazy to knit complex shapes of toys. Therefore, I present a simple master class that will allow you to knit many snowmen with the same base, but different in character. For knitting I needed a bag of multi-coloredleftover threads and hook No. 2.5 I tried to put different styles and characters into them, as I knitted them for my colleagues - each snowman with its own characteristics. But, back to basics – the snowman’s body is meknitted very simply: dial 4 ch. loops, closed them in a ring and dial 12 double crochets in this ring. The following rows were knitted as follows. From three loops of the previous row in a row, knit 2 dc. with a crochet, from the fourth loop - 1 dc. with a crochet. Having finished the row, we get 21 loops. Knit three rows without changes. In the next row, make decreases - from each 3rd and 4th loop, knit 1 dc. with a crochet. In the next row, knit 1 dc. with a crochet from all the remaining loops, having first stuffed the body with padding polyester. So, the body of the snowman is ready. To form the body and head, I pull the thread over the place of the improvised "neck" of the snowman. Done! I got 7 of these body blanks, that is, 7 snowmen. Now I'll tell you where the idea of knitting came fromdifferent snowmen. I decided to make them as gifts for my colleagues for the New Year. In our team, all the employees have pronounced features - one girl really likes listening to music, another - fashionable clothes, another - is into yoga, etc. So my snowmen turned out to have the same features. My first snowman is into yoga.I knitted a hat and a yoga mat for him.For the hat, I cast on 15 ch. loops, closed them into a ring and knitted two rows of double crochets. In the 3rd row, I made 5 decreases - evenly, in a circle. In the next, 4th row - I knitted one of all the remaining loops and carefully closed it. And so, the hat is ready.A yoga mat is a flat rectangular piece (10 stitches wide and 5 rows long) of double crochet stitches. And to make it convenient to carry this rug, II made a strap for it from air loops – you can see it clearly in the photo, and now you can hang it on the snowman’s shoulder. The strap was made from simple air loops, with 5-6 loops closed in a circle on each side. Thus, the snowman-yogi is ready! The next snowman is a fashionista.A red one was knitted for hima beret hat and a matching handbag. The beret is knitted in the same way as the hat for the first snowman, only in the 3rd row I closed all the loops, so the hat turned out flatter - just like a beret. The bag is knitted like this: I cast on 6 ch.loops and tied them with double crochets on both sides so that it turned into circular knitting. And then – I knitted circle after circle without changes until the desired length of the bag. In the end, I made a bag handle from air loops and that's it – the fashionable accessory is already hanging on the snowman's shoulder.Snowman #3 is a music lover. He has the same shape of hat asa snowman-yoga, but a scarf-snood appeared - a simple fabric from the required number of air loops (I made a snood for two turns around the neck) and the width I liked - I got it from one row of double crochets. Since the snowman loves music, I knitted a player with headphones for him - a small rectangle of 3 loops in width and 4 single crochets in length, as well as a cord from headphones, knitted from air loops with half-columns at the ends (to form the speakers themselves). Next, the snowman is a cat lover (in our team, in fact, one woman really loves cats and constantly feeds our homeless smaller brothers). The snowman is knitted in the same way as all the others.the rest. And he has the same hat and snood as the music lover. But the special thing is the cat ears on the hat. They are knitted directly on the fabric of the hat (because I am too lazy to cast on new loops and then sew these ears to the hat) and consist of 1 single crochet, 1 double crochet, knitted from 3 loops, and another single crochet. The ears turn out small and neat. Next in line is the snowman - mom (my colleague is a very young and creative mother of two wonderful girls of the same age). She has a hat (the same as the others)snowmen - simple and beautiful) and a scarf. For the scarf, I dialed 3-4 air loops and knitted a straight piece of fabric of the length I needed - so that I could tie the scarf around my neck. And, I knitted two small snowmen - her children. They are smaller than the basic snowmen, so the body is knitted not from 21 loops (like the main ones - large snowmen), but from 12, that is, as we added loops in the second row, we do not add more. We knit three rows straight, and then we make decreases and close the knitting. We will also knit hats for the little ones - the snowmen. Only not from 15 loops, as for adults, but from 8-10, depending on the type and thickness of the yarn. The next snowman is a photographer. The creative color of the hat is bright green and,Of course, a camera. I knitted it with a straight piece of fabric made of 5 stitches in width and with such a number of rows in length that it could be bent in half, and it would acquire the shape of a camera. Next, we knit the lens - a ring of 7 air loops, the next circle - without changes, and the 3rd row - with increases in every second loop. Thus, the lens slightly widens - this can be seen in the photo. Carefully sew it to the camera and knit a strap from air loops. You can hang the camera on the snowman's neck. And, the most important snowman in the team - the royal one (symbolizes our director).I knitted a crown and a cloak for him.The crown is a circle of 15 ch. loops, one row of double crochets and the outer row of "crown thorns". They are knitted like this: *skip 2 loops from the beginning of the row, and from the 3rd loop knit 5 double crochets, then 3 ch. loops and 5 more double crochets from the same loop. Next, a single crochet in the third loop from this whole pile*. Repeat from * to * until the knitting is finished. So, the crown for the king of snowmen is ready. Now the mantle. The mantle is a straight rectangular piece of fabric knitted with double crochets. I knitted the required length (slightly longer than the snowman's height - it seemed more interesting to me) and, of course, I need ties - from ordinary air loops. The mantle is ready and can be tied around the neck. Craftswomen can experiment with the color and size of the snowmen. It all depends on how far your imagination goes! These are such funny and easy to make snowmen. Each with its own character and individuality. Just like people.
