The master class will help to create a boutonniere for which flowers are made by hands from the fameirana.
Let's talk about happiness.What is happiness for you? What does a person need to feel happy? I am not talking about global things: love, health, well-being. Every day, some routine little things bring joy and lift the mood. For some, it is hot, delicious, aromatic coffee early in the chilly morning. For others, it is the opportunity to communicate with family and the shining, devotional and loving eyes of a pet. For some, a good night's sleep is simply necessary for complete happiness. Comfort and the opportunity to eat deliciously are important for a man. A woman feels happy when she is beautiful and surrounded by beautiful things. Even a small detail can lift the mood and add sparkle to the eyes. What could be more beautiful than a happy woman?! Today we are making wonderful foamiran jewelry. These will be jewelry on a hairpin and a boutonniere, but the fastener can be changed, and the boutonniere will turn into a hair clip or a brooch. Foamiran (foam) - surprisingly flexible and pliable material. It is also called revelour. Receiving the warmth of human hands, it gives magical images and some amazing realism. For work you will need:
- two cuts of fameiran white and green shades;
- acrylic paints (white, ocher, carmine);
- brush;
- iron;
- lace and stamens for decoration;
- scissors;
- a piece of food foil and toothpick;
- two stencils of five-color colors that are convenient for you (you can draw it yourself or find a ready-made stencil on the Internet).
So, at the preparatory stage you need whitefoamiran and stencil. The sheet of revelour needs to be cut into strips and squares of the size required for the stencil, and the blanks need to be cut out with small scissors exactly according to the stencil. We paint the blanks for the future flower with a brush using light movements from the center to the edges.From the foil we form a small drop orball, put it on a toothpick and glue the first tier from below. With one petal, as if we bend (glue) the foil droplet. Glue the next petals at the bottom, overlapping the previous petal. Then apply each petal to the iron for a few seconds and very quickly model the shape of the petal with the pads of our fingers, after which we glue it to the already formed bud. We continue working with the following tiers in a similar manner. We glue the blank at the bottom, heat it with an iron and model the shape of the petal. Three blanks are needed for each flower. For the cup, take a small strip of green foam and cut it into four parts.We cut each wedge on both sides in several places.Heat with an iron.We stretch it very quickly and twist it into a spiral.And glue it to the flower with hot glue. Each flower will require 4-5 parts.Let's add stamens for beauty.We string it on a hairpin and glue it. It is worth noting that the place of connection with the hairpin should be additionally reinforced with a satin ribbon or cotton fabric.For a boutonniere you need three flowers. We put them together and try on how the flowers will look together compositionally.And this is what the rose will look like if tinteddo not from the center to the edges, but vice versa, from the edge to the center. However, in this case, it is worth remembering that you need to paint not only the edge, but also the place where the foamiran is cut, otherwise the work will look sloppy.This is what a boutonniere clip looks like. Two parts: a metal plate with a fastener at the bottom.We attach a piece of elastic inside the fastening and snap the clamp into place.To model the base of the decoration we will takea small piece of foamiran, onto which we will glue the leaves. By the way, the leaves can be made using molds and veiners or just using your hands. To do this, you need to cut out the shape of the leaf from the velour fabric, make notches with small scissors on both sides. Heat it with an iron, and while the material is still warm, use the stretching and twisting method to form the final shape of the leaf. If you draw veins on the sheet before heating (with a stack or an orange stick), the leaf will look more naturalistic.We put together the decoration. We attach the roses to the base as they will look on the finished boutonniere, glue them with hot glue if everything is OK. We add lace and stamens in the gaps.If you replace the boutonniere hardware with a clip,you will get a hair clip. The fittings can be changed at your discretion. It can be a wooden blank for a hair clip, an automatic hair clip or a hair clip. Inspiration and creative success!
