Even a novice artist can easily cope with it. Moreover, this drawing can serve as a basis and, if you connect your imagination, you can create a beautiful painting. Drawing with a pencil is a technique that is interesting to everyone. It is popular among those who are just learning to draw, and among famous artists. It is this tool (material) that is able to convey many black and white shades, make the image realistic and unique. With an ordinary simple pencil, you can draw almost any object or object without exception. Even a portrait of a person, made with a pencil, has its own special energy. In our article, we offer a master class on drawing a boat with a pencil. The work is not difficult, but very interesting, which you can see for yourself. We will draw this object in several stages, which will help you avoid mistakes and convey all its lines and shape as accurately as possible. So, let's proceed directly to the process of work itself, namely, to the first stage of drawing. Stage one We need to depict the primary contours of our object (boat). Considering that it is characterized by symmetry and accuracy of proportions, we need to be careful with the work. It is the first stage that determines how correct the image will be at the final stage. Initially, we will draw a simple geometric figure, an oval, which has a slightly elongated shape, imitating the outlines of a boat. Inside it, we draw two, relatively small, lines indicating the seats. Do not press too hard on the pencil. In some cases, the drawing may need to be corrected.Stage two: Draw another one, exactly the same asand the previous one, a figure (oval), only smaller in size, inside the first one. This is the outline of the inner surface of the boat. The right part of this oval needs to be connected to the seats. Next, we draw some details located inside our boat as we see in the proposed drawing.
Stage Three At this stage we willdetail our drawing. It is much easier and simpler to do the work here, since we already have the main contours. All that remains is to add small elements that are characteristic of this object. We know that the material for building wooden boats is longitudinal bent boards. We need to draw them inside the boat, then the overall picture will have a more realistic appearance. We draw the remaining details and give the boat a shape as it is done in the drawing. All unnecessary lines drawn in the previous stages of work can be easily removed with an eraser.
Step four Now we will draw the frame. For this we will draw the ribs of the frame (crossbars). Their thickness should be the same at the top and bottom.
Stage Five As already mentioned in ourarticle, the boat is built from boards. Therefore, the outer part of the frame also needs to be depicted properly, to make it realistic. There is absolutely no difficulty in this. You just need to make several longitudinal parallel lines along the frame along the side of our vessel.
In principle, the drawing can be considered complete, but, nevertheless, it is necessary to look at it carefully once again. Perhaps some small detail was missed, which will need to be corrected. The resulting drawing can be colored with colored pencils, or you can add color to it with a simple pencil. For this, it is better to take a soft pencil and add shadows on the boat with it.
If you add a few other objects to the boat, such as a sail, a man rowing, the sun, the sky and waves, you will have a beautiful, complete picture.
