If you slightly change the pattern of Tilda the Fat Girl, then we can get a pretty decent home Fairy of our own. And besides, sewing a Tilda doll with your own hands is not difficult. 1. We will need flesh-colored calico, polka-dotted chintz, white fabric for the wings, a little sewing, Iris threads, synthetic padding or holofiber and a satin ribbon for the flowers. The size of the original is about 16 cm.
2. Tilda doll pattern. We copy, print and cut it out.
3. First, we combine the flesh-colored calico and polka-dotted chintz. Then we outline the contours of the patterns on the fabric folded in half. All that remains is to carefully sew the seam according to the pattern.
4. Then you can cut out the blanks, stepping back from the seam by a couple of millimeters. In the neck area, we make micro-notches for smooth lines.
5. Turn the parts inside out and fill them with padding polyester or holofiber. Pay special attention to the head, neck and bust. Stuff everything else quite softly.
6. Turning the lower edge of the body by 2-3 mm, we make a transverse seam, which should not quite reach the corners.
7. Then we fold the corners in the form of an “envelope” and sew them by hand.
8. If you attach the handles to the body with a couple of needles, then sewing them on will be very simple.
9. It is desirable to make the seam as hidden as possible, so that the Tilda Fairy Godmother doll shines with perfect bare shoulders.
10. Let's start sewing the skirt - we measure the length according to the height of the model. We gather along the top edge of the skirt and tie it at the waist.
11. Decorate the bottom with embroidery or any other fittings. Drape the assembly with a thin belt - it is better to do this with pencil glue than to sew it by hand.
12. How to make a hairstyle for a Tilda doll? In the part of the head where we plan to depict the "bun", we stick a needle.
13. Then, around the circumference of the head, we make small stitches, wrapping the “strands of hair” around the frame.
14. At the final stage, we secure the bun with a couple of stitches and separately make a braid, which we place decoratively around the bun.
15. For convenience, we use pencil glue again.
16. We outline the pattern of the wings on the fabric folded in half and sew a seam according to the drawing, not forgetting about the technological hole.
17. After we cut, turn inside out, stuff the wings with padding polyester and mark the plumage, it should look something like the one in the photo. Sew them onto the back of the angelic Fairy Godmother.
18.Using a couple of dots (fabric marker, acrylic paint), draw eyes on our Tilda, and using dry blush (planed pencil lead) apply the signature Tilda blush. If you wish, you can decorate Tilda Fairy Godmother with flowers in her hair and on her dress.
19. We straighten the skirt, knead the filling in the body a little to ensure stability, and let our little angel do good deeds and fulfill our most cherished desires.
