For this product, the threads "Children's novelty (Pekhorka)" were used - 100% acrylic (200 m in 50 g), hook No. 3.The potholder pattern is quite simple and can be done by beginner knitters.Let's get to work.With purple yarn, cast on 5 air loops, connecting them into a ring. And knit into it 6 groups of 3 double crochets, separated by an air loop. At the end of the row, change the thread to green.In the second row, in each air loopwe knit a fan, consisting of 6 double crochets, separated by a chain stitch. Chain stitches are also knitted between the fans. Now we attach the pink thread.In the third row, in each air loop of the fanknit the same fan, and in the space between the fans of the previous row knit 2 double crochets. Do not forget to separate the elements with air loops.The next row is knitted with blue yarn.And again - a fan is knitted into a fan, and in each column - 2 columns with a yarn over. Now the fans are separated by 4 columns. We change the thread to lemon.In the fifth row, the fans are knitted in the same way as in the previous rows. And from 4 double crochets we make 6, knitting 2 additional double crochets into the outer loops.We continue knitting in this way, changing the colors of the threads and increasing the fabric of the potholder by doubling the outer double crochets.We make the tenth row with purple yarn.In one of the corners of the potholder, we form a loop by knitting 25-30 air loops and attaching with a thread in the same corner.You can finish the potholder with a bindingalong the perimeter with a small border in the form of fans. In the corners we knit 6 double crochets, separated by 3 air loops. And on the sides of the stand we form fans of 4 columns, separated by 1 loop. We attach them through every 2 loops of the previous row, fixing them with single crochets. We use orange yarn for this.We also strengthen the loop with single crochet stitches.And our bright potholder is ready!You can decorate its center with an orange ring. And admire your work!The size of our stand is 22 cm.But it can be easily increased or decreased, respectively, adding or decreasing the number of rows. If such a potholder will perform not only a decorative function, it is better to use cotton threads for its creation and make it double. If you use thick or ribbon yarn, you can make a beautiful rug according to this pattern. And in this form - this is a rug only for amigurumi dragon.
