Winter has come, and a song is playing in my head:“Snowflakes are falling from the sky, lower and lower, The drifts of fluffy snow are higher and higher, The traces of the passing year are quieter and quieter, And the New Year's song is getting closer, closer…”Snowflakes are beautiful in any design, be itsnowflakes cut out of paper or felt or made of plastic. But the most amazing snowflakes are those crocheted. They are not difficult to crochet, but the result will depend on how carefully you do it. Such openwork, carved, they can decorate your home, Christmas tree, New Year's outfit or holiday table. Today I suggest crocheting a snowflake. When I crocheted the first snowflake, I could not stop and continued crocheting. It is not at all necessary to crochet snowflakes white, they can be multi-colored. This even adds zest to them, they become a decorative part of the New Year's decoration of the house. To crochet a snowflake we will need:

• thread (100% cotton),
• hook (№1-2),
• scissors,
• beads or rhinestones for decoration.

So, we start knitting with an amigurumi ring.We throw two turns of thread on the index finger of the left hand and knit 6 single crochets (sc), then pull the end of the thread and connect the ring with a slip stitch. With this start of knitting, there is no hole left in the middle. In the first row, knit 12 sc.If this method seems complicated, justwe start knitting with 6 air loops. We connect them into a ring and knit 12 sc from the ring. Second row: 3 air loops, 1 double crochet (dc) in the next loop, 5 air loops, skip one loop, 2 dc in the next loop. Next, 5 more air loops, and continue to the end of the row, finish the row with a connecting post. This is what you get - a flower with six arches.Third row: 11 chain stitches and a slip stitch in the eighth loop from the hook (A), 10 chain stitches and a slip stitch in the eighth loop from the hook (B). This creates the rays of the snowflake. Next 9 air loops and a connecting one1 dc in loop B, 7 ch and a slip dc in loop B, three slip dc, 7 ch and a slip dc in loop A, 3 slip dc and sc with the next dc. You have a snowflake beam. Now we move on to knitting the arch between the beams. 3 sc in an arch of 5 ch, 7 ch.Then 3 more tbsp. without a stitch. This is what you got.Next we repeat this rapport 6 times, we get 6 rays and arches. This is what the snowflake looks like.Now you need to steam it and straighten all the branches and, if desired, decorate it with beads and rhinestones.It is best to starch the snowflake.Take a glass of water for 2 tablespoons of starch. Place the snowflake in the solution for a few minutes, then squeeze it out and straighten it on a flat surface, preferably securing it with pins.
