We barely had time to celebrate the New Year, and it’s already just around the corneranother holiday. This is the most tender and romantic day of the year - Valentine's Day. On this day, it is customary to give valentines, and stores are full of their variety. However, can purchased valentines compare with those made with your own hands? In this master class, we will weave this souvenir from rubber bands of 3 colors!
Materials and tools:
- rubber;
- hook.
Stages of work:For such a valentine, you can take any colors of rubber bands you like. In this case, we will take yellow, red and green rubber bands. Wrap 2 yellow rubber bands around the hook twice. And now simply form a chain of 4 pairs of rubber bands.
We pass the hook through the very first pair thatwound on the hook. And we form a chain of 3 pairs of rubber bands only through 4 left rubber bands on the hook. We do not touch the 4 right ones. We connect all the rubber bands on the hook with another 1 pair.
We return the hook to the very first pair of rubber bands. Again we form a chain of 3 pairs of rubber bands only through the 4 left rubber bands on the hook. We lead another 1 pair through all the rubber bands.
We return the hook to the first pair of rubber bands again.We form a chain of 2 pairs of rubber bands through the left 4 rubber bands. We lead the 3rd pair through all the rubber bands. We repeat the action one more time. We lead all the rubber bands through 1 pair. We return the hook to the first pair of rubber bands again. We form a chain of 3 pairs of rubber bands through the left 4 rubber bands. We lead the 4th pair through all the rubber bands. We return the hook to the first pair of rubber bands again. We form a chain of 2 pairs of rubber bands through the left 4 rubber bands. We lead the 3rd pair through all the rubber bands. We repeat 2 times. We return the hook to the first pair of rubber bands again. We form a chain of 3 pairs of rubber bands through the left 4 rubber bands. We lead the 4th pair through all the rubber bands.
We form a chain of 2 pairs without inserting a hookin the center. We insert the hook into the center (the very first pair) and pull 1 pair through all the rubber bands on the hook. And only then we throw the 2nd side onto the hook. We make a knot.
We weave the knot into the heart. Just hide it behind the loops. Change the rubber bands to red ones. Pull a pair of red rubber bands through the center. Form a chain of 3 pairs.
We count 3 loops from the center and insert the hook into the 4th. We pass a pair of rubber bands only through the yellow rubber bands and return them to the hook. We pull another pair through all the rubber bands.
We pull another pair through the same loop.rubber bands. We pull another pair through all the rubber bands. We insert the hook into the next loop, pull the pair only through the yellow rubber bands, and we lead the next pair through all the rubber bands. We repeat the action through the same loop 2 times.

We knit like this to the bottom of the heart, inserting the hook into each loop only once. At the bottom, in the central loop, we knit 1 pair through the yellow ones, the 2nd pair through all of them. And we collect a chain of 2 pairs, without inserting the hook into the next loop. And then we knit as before, 1 pair through the yellow rubber bands, the 2nd pair through all of them. We knit like this until there are 4 loops left from the top center. In the 5th loop, to the right of the center, we knit twice. That is, we must do the same as on the other side. In the 4th loop we pull a pair only through the yellow rubber bands, and we pull the next pair through all the rubber bands. We repeat 2 more times through the same loop. Now we form a chain of 3 pairs. We insert the hook into the center and pull 1 pair through all the rubber bands on the hook. We make a knot.
We change the rubber bands to green ones.Now we will take 1 elastic band. Pull 1 through the center. Insert the hook into the next red loop and pull the green elastic through all the elastic bands on the hook. Insert the hook into the next loop, pull 1 green elastic only through the red ones. There are 4 green loops on the hook, pull the 1st one through all the others. Insert the hook into the next loop, pull 1 green elastic only through the red ones. There are 3 loops on the hook, pull the 1st one through all of them. We knit like this to the end. This is the heart we get!
