Master class on creating a children's toy with your own hands - a crocheted giraffe.
Toys come in different types.Dolls, bunnies, teddy bears, cats and dogs... And in this master class we will knit a cheerful giraffe, which will lift your spirits from just one glance thrown in its direction.For the giraffe we will need:
- yarn (white and colored);
- hook;
- thread;
- needle;
- sintepon.
To make our giraffe cute and funny, weWe will use two colors that will become our main ones - lilac and soft green (mint). And for the muzzle - white yarn. Let's start knitting the head. First, take the white yarn and make an amigurumi ring. We will knit our first six columns in it. The entire toy will consist of single crochets. Next, there will be increases so that the knitting expands. To do this, in four rows we knit six increases. In total, we will get thirty loops. Let's knit two more rows and make six decreases. Now we need to take the lilac yarn, and the white one can be torn off, since we will no longer need it. Let's knit a row. Now there are six decreases and one row without them. Let's make four decreases after this row and knit two rows without changes. We make four decreases again in the next row, in the other we will also have four decreases. Then we decrease each loop and tighten.Now let's knit the body of the future giraffe.It will be striped. First, take the lilac yarn and again, as at the beginning of knitting the head, make an amigurumi ring. Make six columns. And six increases in five rows. And now we change the yarn to light green and make six decreases. We will have thirty loops. Knit two rows.
Again we will change the yarn to lilac, we will make sixdecreases and knit two rows. Change the yarn to green, make six decreases and knit two rows. Change the yarn to lilac, make four decreases here and knit two rows. Change to green, make four decreases and knit one row, make four decreases again. So we will have only twelve loops left. Next, knit three stripes without decreasing anything and changing the yarn. That is, each stripe will consist of three rows of the same color.
Our funny giraffe will have arms and legsidentical. And therefore we will knit according to the same principle. First we need to knit part of the detail with green threads. In the amigurumi ring we will knit six columns and make six increases in each of the two rows. We will knit a row without changes and make six decreases in the next one. We change to lilac yarn and knit a row. In another row we make two decreases and knit without changes another nine rows.
We will knit the ears to match the color of the head, that islilac. In the amigurumi ring we will knit six columns and knit a row. We will make three increases and knit one row without changes. Again we will make three increases and knit a row without changes. We will make three decreases.
All that remains is to knit the horns for our giraffe.They will be the same color as the handles. This is almost a copy only in miniature. So, in the amigurumi ring we knit six columns with light green yarn and make three increases in the second row. We knit a row without changes. We make two decreases and change the yarn in the next row to lilac. We knit four rows.
At the end of each part, except the head, you needleave long threads. We will use them to sew the parts to the body. But you can also sew with regular sewing threads. First, sew on the head, then the arms and legs.
After that we will sew the horns and ears to the head.giraffe. All that's left is to embroider the eyes with black or dark blue floss. Or you can glue half beads instead of embroidering. That's the funny giraffe we got!
