Master class for the new year to make their own handmade crafts from a waste material - a volume snowflake
Here comes the New Year!At this time, you want beauty and some kind of miracle! But we can’t always afford expensive jewelry, and sometimes it’s just a shame to spend money on trinkets. There is a solution! Why not decorate your home with your own hands, and if you do it with your children? Isn’t that happiness?! I offer you a simple, but quite original snowflake made from waste material. So, let’s get started! 1. To create a snowflake, we will need:
- any bright magazine with glossy pages;
- scissors;
- A stapler;
- templates from paper;
- pencil;
- ribbon and decor.
2. Take the sheets from the magazine and fold them like an accordion. I got an accordion width of 3.5 cm.
3. Cut out any template from paper, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just as much as your imagination allows.
4. Transfer the template outline onto our accordions on the right and left, then cut out the resulting pattern.
5. These are the patterns I got.
6. Fold the accordions in half and tie them in the middle with a thread.
7. Fasten the accordions together using a stapler, carefully straightening them out.
8. This is the wonderful snowflake I got.
9. Now you can decorate the snowflake with decorations and tie it with a satin ribbon.
