A master class of making toys with their own hands for beginners to crochet is a monkey for the new year.
A cheerful monkey is the symbol of 2016.The crocheted toy will celebrate the New Year holiday with you and will become a good friend in your children's games. We will need: Pekhorka yarn "Children's novelty" (50 g, 200 m), beige, Alize Superwash yarn (50 g, 210 m), brown, hook No. 1.25, synthetic padding, needle with a large eye.Head.Let's start knitting from the head, or rather from the muzzle, knitting it with light yarn. Make an amigurumi ring. To do this, wind the thread around your finger, insert the hook under the thread on your finger, pull the loop towards you. Then hook the working thread from above and pull it through the resulting loop. Insert the hook under the ring again, pull the loop and hook the working thread from above. Knit the loop of the working thread through both loops on the hook. You get a single crochet (SC). Row 1. In the amigurumi ring, dial 6 SC, tighten the ring by the end of the thread.
2 rows 6 + 6 = 12 s/bn. Knit two in each column.
3 rows 12 + 6 = 18 s/bn. Knit two columns in every second one.
4 - 6 rows. 18 s/bn. Knit without changes. 7 rows.18 - 4 = 14 Dc. Reduce the number of stitches by skipping first the third, then the fourth, then the third again and finally the fourth. Row 8: 14 + 6 = 20 Dc. Knit two stitches in every second stitch. Row 9: 20 + 6 == 26 Dc. Turn the knitting over and knit 10 Dc in the other direction.
Turn it over again and knit 9 sc.
10 p. Continue in the same direction 26 S/bn.
11th row. Change the thread to brown. 26 + 4 = 30 s/bn.
12 - 14 rows 30 Sc. Knit straight, without changes. 15 rows 30 - 6 = 24 Sc. Fill with padding polyester.
16 rub. 24 – 6 = 18 S/bn.We decrease, skipping every third column. Row 17. 18 - 6 = 12 Sc. We skip every second. Row 18. 12 - 6 = 6 Sc. Pull the nostrils together and, since the padding polyester will thicken, finish the muzzle with padding polyester and close the knitting, hiding the thread inside.
Torso.The body will be knitted only with brown thread. Again, make an amigurumi ring, as in the beginning, and collect 6 sc into the ring, tighten and continue knitting in a circle. Row 1: 6 sc. Row 2: 6 + 6 = 12 sc. Row 3: 12 + 6 = 18 sc. Row 4: 18 + 6 = 24 sc. Row 5: 24 + 6 = 30 sc. Row 6: 30 + 6 = 36 sc.
7– 16 rub. 36 S/bn. 17 rub. 36– 6 =30 C/bn.
18 rub. 30 S/bn. 19 rub. 30 – 6 = 24 S/bn.Row 20 24 Single crochet. Row 21 24 – 6 = 18 Single crochet. Row 22 18 Single crochet. Row 23 18 – 6 = 12 Single crochet. Row 24 12 Single crochet. Stuff with padding polyester, secure the thread, leaving the end for sewing.
Legs. We begin knitting the legs with light yarn.We make an amigurumi ring again and collect 6 sc in it. Row 1: 6 sc. Row 2: 6 + 6 = 12 sc. Row 3: 12 + 6 = 18 sc. Row 4: 18 + 6 = 24 sc. Row 5: 24 + 6 = 30 sc. Row 6 - Row 7: 30 sc.
Row 8 30 - 6 = 24 Sc. Row 9 24 - 6 = 18 Sc. Row 10 18 - 6 = 12 Sc. Stuff with padding polyester, cut off the thread.
11 - 22 p. Change the thread to brown and continue knitting without changes.
We cut the thread, stuff it with padding polyester, taking into account an important point: if you stuff it tightly, the legs will stick out. We knit the second leg.
Ears. For the ears, you need to knit four parts, two brown and two smaller ones - beige. The light parts are the inside of the ear. Row 1. 6 D/c in the amigurumi ring. Row 2. 6 + 6 = 12 D/c. Row 3. 12 + 6 = 18 D/c. Row 4. 18 + 6 = 24 D/c. After that, knit in a circle as follows: insert the hook into the loop of the bottom row, pull the working thread into this loop and into the one on the hook at once. Fasten the thread and cut it off, leaving a long end to sew to the head. Then repeat the first and second rows with beige thread, sew the light part into the middle of the brown part. Knit the second ear.
Hands.Knit the arms in the same way as the legs, only with a different number of loops. Row 1. Cast on 6 sc in the amigurumi ring. Row 2. 6 + 6 = 12 sc. Row 3. 12 + 6 = 18 sc. Row 4. - 6. 18 sc. Row 7. 18 - 6 = 12 sc. Row 8. 12 - 2 = 10 sc. Stuff with padding polyester.
Row 9. Change the thread from beige to brown. Row 10. 10 - Row 19. 10. 10. Fasten and cut the thread, remembering to leave a tail for sewing.
Tail. The tail will also be knitted from brown yarn. Row 1. Cast on 6 sc into the amigurumi ring. Row 2 - Row 25. Knit straight to the end, considering that the neck of the piece is narrow, it is better to knit loosely. The tail will not stick out.
When all the details are ready, we assemble our monkey, hiding the ends of the threads, then embroider its eyes and mouth. The gift is ready.
You can decorate the monkey with a bow or a hat and scarf.
