The master class will teach you how to make Christmas tree decorations – bells – with your own hands
New Year and Christmas are coming soon.This means that there will be a Christmas tree in the house, and the sweet aroma of ripe tangerines and the tartness of spruce branches will be in the air. Multi-colored lights will be burning on the tree, and balls – sparkle in their light. But let's not forget about Christmas bells. We will just tie them together in this master class. Knitting these bells is easy. They take little time. And therefore, you can still have time to prepare for the main holiday of the year and impose these small cute decorations for the festive interior for yourself and your loved ones. To knit bells we will need:
- yarn;
- hook;
- bow.
Well, let's start knitting.In our case, the bells will be blue. However, they can also be made white or red. Yes, indeed, and any others. You can even add metallic threads to the yarn. Then your bells will shine from the light and Christmas tree garlands.We begin to knit three air loops.We will close them in a circle. And then we will knit seven single crochets into this resulting ring. Let's connect the beginning and end of the row. We will do this in each row using a connecting column. In the second row we will move on to knitting double crochets. We will knit them as follows. First, we’ll knit three chain stitches and knit one stitch in the same place where the chain stitches come from. Let's make one loop.
In the next stitch of the previous row we willknit two double crochets. And again we’ll make an air one. We will continue in exactly the same way. That is – we knit identical elements in the round. And from each loop of the previous row we have two columns. This way we increase the diameter of our future bell.
We knit the next row with the usual stitches withoutYarn over. We knit two columns into the arch, and between the columns of the previous row we knit one column. And our bell is already beginning to gradually take on the desired shape. It becomes sort of semicircular.
Let's move on to the next row. Let's knit three loops. And let's skip one loop at the base of the bell knitting. And the next time we’ll knit a double crochet and again we’ll knit one chain stitch.
Then we knit according to the same principle. At the end of each row, do not forget to connect the beginning and end of knitting.
The next row is knitted according to the previous one. At the very beginning, we knit three loops and over the column of the previous row, we knit a column with a yarn over of the new row. And so on until the very end of this row.
And then the knitting changes. Now we will knit one double crochet into the arch and over the double crochet of the previous row. So you need to knit the entire row to the end.
And now we just have to connect the arches from the airloops. We will dial four air loops and knit a single crochet into the second loop. That is, we will need to skip one loop and not knit anything into it, and knit into the second one. And so we knit the last row of the bell in a circle. Cut off the thread. And carefully tuck it into the knitting with a needle or hook so that it does not stick out and is not visible. Straighten our resulting bell. It is better to starch it so that it does not wrinkle and keeps its shape for a long time. Now we knit the second same bell and connect them with a thread so that they hang together. You can also make a loop from an air chain. Take a bow or a red satin ribbon. Fasten the finished bow on top of the bells. It can be sewn on or glued with a hot glue gun.
These are the Christmas bells you get! You can decorate your tree with them, or you can give them to someone for the New Year.
