The master class will teach you how to crochet a New Year's craft – knitted garland for the Christmas tree
What can you come up with to decorate the interior?Is it better to have garlands for the New Year? And what a wealth of choice!!! Of course, now you can easily buy a variety of garlands in the store. Or you can fantasize a little and make one yourself. You can create it from anything - from paper, ribbon, lace, wood or plastic cups... This master class shows how to crochet a garland of small stars.To make a knitted garland you will need:
- beautiful thread with lurex;
- thin hook.
Thread consumption will directly depend onthe required length of the garland. What is good about such a garland? Firstly - there is definitely no other like it, secondly - it is absolutely safe for small children and animals, and thirdly - you can make it of any length. Let's start knitting. We will start by making stars. To do this, wrap the thread around your finger several times and knit 15 simple single crochet stitches into the resulting ring.Now we will make a chain of 6 loops – this is the basis for the first ray of the star.In the third loop of the chain from the hook we will knit one half double crochet – this will be the top of the beam of our star.In the next loop we will make a double crochet.Next, in the very first (last from the hook) loop, we will knit a double crochet.And we will knit one more column with a pair of yarn overs into the base column from which we knitted our chain.We will secure our ray to the ring-base of the star with a column through two columns of the ring, into the third.So we knit four more rays. We got the first star.We knit as many of these stars as we want.necessary for the garland. Another advantage of this knitting method is that you don't need to count the number of stars in advance - because in the process you can knit more stars or not connect the extra ones if the garland has already reached the desired length.Now we will assemble our garland. First we will make a loop - we will be able to hang our garland by it. This will be 15 air loops connected into a ring.Now we will knit another 15 loops.And we will knit the sixteenth loop together with the loop at the top of the star.Next, we knit 15 loops again.And let's add one more star.So we will knit a chain with stars of the required length. At the other end of the garland we will make a loop again.In order for our garland to be denser, we will tie it with simple columns. In the loop by which the garland is hung, we will tie 25 simple columns.Well, then, along the entire length of the garland, for each loop, we will also knit a simple column.You can decorate a Christmas tree, a window, or a mirror with such a knitted garland. You can also sew it onto a New Year's costume or decorate a dress. You can also make a New Year's necklace or hair decoration.
