In this case, a New Year holiday composition with a herringbone from sisal can help out. For the New Year's composition you will need:

sisal green;
cardboard or foamy conical base for a Christmas tree;
small and large snowflakes, pins with bead heads, a matching star or bow for decoration;
glue, scissors;
Toys - Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, animals;
cones colored with bright paint;
piece of sintepon, about 70x70 cm.

Before you start to collect a New Year's composition,we make a Christmas tree from sisal. If you do not have a ready-made foam core, twist the dense cardboard in the form of a cone and fasten it with a stapler or glue. Then gently wrap the base sisal, tightly pressing it to the base. The Christmas tree is ready, it remains to decorate it: stick pins, glue small snowflakes, put an asterisk or bow on top of the head. Then we start collecting the most New Year's composition. The basis on which the toys will stand, you can pick up the ready, or you can build from the synthepone: fold it 4 times and form something like a tray. In the basis put your Christmas tree from sisal, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden - these are the main elements of the New Year's composition. You can supplement it with soft toys in the form of little animals: a rabbit, a bear, a chanterelle. In addition, sprinkle your composition with small asterisks and decorate with colored fir cones, large snowflakes and other objects associated with you on the holiday. Put the resulting festive composition on the table, and on New Year's Eve put gifts for your kids next to it - they will surely be very happy!
