The master class will teach how to make knitted hearts, will show how to crochet the heart for Valentine's Day.
Cute and tender valentine hearts knittedwith your own hands, will be able to convey all the warmth and tenderness that you feel for your loved one. It can be given instead of a banal postcard, complement the gift wrapping with it or make a souvenir out of it. The knitted heart that I want to offer in my master class is based on a very famous knitting motif - pineapple. It looks very delicate and airy.
The materials for the heart are minimal – some leftover threads and a hook. We will start knitting our heart from the bottom, from its sharp part. To do this, we will make a chain of four loops.
Then we knit a double crochet into the first loop.
Next, we will make a chain of three air loops and again knit 2 double crochets.
Knit in turning rows. Replace the first column of the row by knitting a chain of three loops instead.
In the same (last column of the first row) we will knit another column.
Then we will make a chain of 2 loops. And in the second column we will make a pair of columns again. This is the group with which each row will begin and end.
Now we will knit 3 loops and a column in the center of the arch of the first row. This column will be for us the "axis of symmetry" in the heart.
We finish the row in mirror image - 3 loops and a group of 4 columns and pairs of loops between them.
The third row completely repeats the second.
We start the fourth row in the standard way.
And then in the center of the first arch we knit 3 columns, in which there is one yarn over.
After them we knit three loops and a “symmetry column”.
Let's finish the row with a mirror image.
The beginning of the row is the same, but in the center instead of three we will knit five columns. To do this, in the first and last column we will knit a pair of columns, not one.
Let's finish the row.
Now let's replace the double crochets with single crochets, which don't have a crochet.
Then everything follows the drawing.
In the next row, we will start making arches in our pineapples. To do this, we will knit three air loops between simple columns. We begin the row in the same way as all the previous ones.
After the first simple column, we knit three loops.
And again a simple column.
And so on 3 more times. In total we should have 4 arches and 5 columns.
Repeat for the other half.
In the next row, we knit a simple column not behind the column of the previous row, but into the center of our arch.
We get three arches instead of 4. In this row, the center of the heart will also change - instead of one column, you will need to knit a pair.
We repeat the second half in mirror image.
In the next row there are already two arches left.
And in the center from each column we knit a pair again. We separate the pairs of columns with three loops.
And again we repeat in mirror image. This is the last whole row. Next we will knit the halves separately.
In this row we have only one arch of air loops left.
From the central group of columns we knit two pairs of columns with a chain of 3 loops between them - the same as at the beginning of the row.
We turn the knitting. In the penultimate row there are no more arches, instead of them there is only a simple column. The beginning and end of the row are the same as in all previous rows.
We finish one half of our heart. To do this, we will knit two columns from the center of the initial group of the row.
And a couple of columns from the center of the final group of the row.
Now let's go back to the place where we started knitting the halves separately. We use small arches of three air loops for this.
We complete the second half symmetrically.
For more beauty, we will tie our heart. We will also tie it with arches of 3 loops.
The sweet and tender heart is ready. All that's left is to hide the threads and steam it.
You can knit a pair of a different color to go with it.
