The master class will teach how to make crafts for Easter - crochet hooks for Easter eggs.
To decorate with a painted Easter eggfestive table or just the interior on the eve of the Bright Day of Easter, it can be placed in an original stand, crocheted, in which it can be well examined from all sides. Even those who have recently picked up a hook and are only taking their first steps in this type of needlework will be able to make one. Despite its simplicity, the stand looks very original and unusual. Be sure to knit one for yourself or several for all family members. And this master class will tell you how to do this. For a stand for an Easter egg, you will need:
- woolly or acrylic yarn of two contrasting colors;
- a crochet hook corresponding to the thickness of the yarn;
- a needle with a reel thread;
- small bead.
Let's start knitting our stand from the base.We will collect five air loops in a chain, which we will immediately close into a ring using a connecting post and tie in a circle with a row of thick posts with one yarn over.
Next we will knit arches consisting of five airloops each, and attach them to the previous row using a half-column. In total, there should be six arches in a circle, arranged in the form of flower petals.
Next we will tie each archas follows: single crochet - two double crochets - double crochet - two double crochets - single crochet. As a result of such knitting, we will get a blank similar to a flower with round petals. This will be the base of the stand.
Now we need to connect the container into whichan egg will be inserted, for this we return from the last row to one of the bases in the form of a half-column, which attached the arch to the first knitted row, and from it to the next we make an arch of five air loops. We do the same thing further in a circle, as a result of which we get six identical arches sticking out in an upward direction.
In the next column, we tie each arch with five identical columns with one yarn over, forming the side walls of the stand container.
The penultimate row of the container is made again with arches, each consisting of four air loops.
After this, we knit with yarn of a contrasting color, in our case it is white, and we tie it around the entire piece in a circle with a row of single crochets.
Also, using contrasting yarn, knit one row of single crochet stitches on the petals of the flower base of the stand. Secure the thread and cut off the excess.
We put the stand aside for now, andwe take on the production of a decorative element ourselves. For this we will again need yarn of the main color. We form a chain from it, consisting of 4 air loops, and close it into a ring.
Next, using connecting posts, we attach arches to the ring in a circle, each consisting of 4 air loops, and there should be 5 arches in total.
After this, we tie each arch with five single crochet stitches and get an original decorative flower.
Now we take the yarn of the second color (white) andwe knit another tiny flower from it, consisting of three petals. To do this, we form one air loop. And then we knit petals from it one by one according to the pattern: single crochet - three double crochets - single crochet.
Using a needle and thin spool thread, sew a small decorative flower into the center of a large one and decorate the middle with a large mother-of-pearl bead that looks like a pearl.
Finally, all that remains is for us to sew our finished decorative element – a flower – to the front side part of the stand.
This is the original crocheted stand for an Easter egg that we got.
