We invite you to sew such a monkey with usVanilla. They call her that because she smells very aromatic of vanilla, coffee and cinnamon. It must be nice to receive such a gift that can be used as a pendant on the Christmas tree.The following materials and tools are required for work:

• dense fabric (white),
• sintepon,
• 0.5 tbsp. instant coffee,
• 70 ml of boiling water,
• 0.5 tsp cocoa powder,
• 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon,
• 0.5 tsp vanilla sugar,
• 0.5 tbsp. glue PVA,
• acrylic paints,
• black gel pen, simple pencil,
• Toothbrush,
• paint brush,
• sewing machine.

The pattern of the monkey (20 cm high) can be drawn according to the sample or traced with a soft pencil from the computer monitor, placing a sheet of paper on it.Fold the fabric in half and trace the pattern. Using a machine we sew two layers of fabric together along the outlined outline. At the bottom of the coat we leave two centimeters unsewn.Cut out the monkey, leaving an allowance of five mm. The threads at the ends of the stitching may not be cut to avoid unraveling of the stitched workpiece.We will cut teeth on the allowances, this is necessary so that in the finished toy the fabric in the area of ​​​​the seams does not bulge.We turn the workpiece inside out and put a line between the head and the ears so that when stuffing the toy, the padding polyester does not get into the ears.On both sides near the ears we pull the threads a little and tie the ends. This will make the ears not completely flat.We fill the blank with padding polyester or holofiber.We push the stuffing through in small pieces, helping ourselves with a stick or the closed ends of scissors. To avoid the lumpy surface of the toy, during the filling process the padding polyester should be fluffed, stretching the filler with your fingers to the sides.First we stuff the monkey’s head, and add small portions of vanillin inside the body along with padding polyester. Having finished stuffing the toy, manually sew up the hole left.We make a pompom on the monkey's hat.To do this, in the area of ​​the transition of the cap to the pompom, insert a needle and thread from one seam to another. Then we wrap it around the base of the pompom 2-3 times and secure the thread. Next, we attach a thread to the top of the head, which will be needed to hang the monkey while drying in the oven. To paint the surface of the toy we takeinstant coffee (cheaper coffee has better coloring properties), pour boiling water over it, stir until dissolved, add cinnamon, vanilla sugar and cocoa, then PVA glue. Mix and apply this mixture to the entire toy with a toothbrush. We quickly and thoroughly distribute the solution over the fabric, avoiding excessive wetting of the padding polyester inside. A properly painted toy does not leave stains or smudges after drying.We tie the toy to the oven rack byattached thread and dry at minimum temperature for 10-15 minutes. If during this time the craft has not dried enough, you need to dry it with the gas turned off. The surface is baked, the toy becomes hard, suitable for drawing on it.We draw with a pencil the details of the monkey’s face andpaint with acrylic paints. Using a black gel pen we draw individual details of the monkey’s image. With silver glitter you can apply peas on your coat and hat, and draw buttons. Attach a thread or a narrow ribbon for hanging. The fragrant monkey Vanilla is ready.
