Materials and tools:

  • two pencils;
  • Scotch;
  • rubber bands of green color;
  • hook.

Stages of work:This keychain is woven on a slingshot, but there is a simpler option - regular pencils. We will roll two identical pencils with tape, having previously placed an eraser between them. The pencils should be strictly parallel to each other. You need to tie them tightly so that they do not connect during weaving. When our working tool is ready, you can move on to weaving. We throw a green rubber band on the right pencil, twisting it 4 times. Transfer the top pair of rubber bands from the left pencil to the right. Drop all 4 bottom loops from the right pencil. Put two rubber bands on the pencils. Drop the bottom 2 rubber bands from each pencil. Transfer the top 2 rubber bands from the left pencil to the right. Throw one rubber band over the left pencil, twisting it four times. Fold the rubber band in half and put it on both pencils. Drop the bottom pair of rubber bands on the left and the second pair of rubber bands on the right. Transfer a pair of rubber bands from right to left. Transfer the top pair of rubber bands from the right pencil to the left. Drop the bottom rubber bands from the left pencil. Throw a pair of rubber bands over both pencils and drop the bottom 2 loops from each pencil.
