A master class with a photo is devoted to weaving a toy made of rubber bands, it will be a parrot with our own hands.
Many of us have pets.Some people have cats, some have dogs. Others like birds. Especially often you can see small budgies in apartments. These cute birds are pleasing to the eye and lift your spirits with their chirping. However, if for some reason you cannot have a parrot, this does not mean that you will not be able to admire their beauty every day. After all, you can weave a parrot for yourself from rubber bands!For this we will need:
- Rubber bands;
- machine;
- hook.
Let's prepare the beak. Wind the yellow elastic band (r-ku) on the hook three times. And throw it onto the orange elastic band twisted in half. And throw it again.Now we carefully remove the left loops from the hook and wind another row onto the hook, return the loops. And throw them all onto 1 white row.Let's put this detail aside for now.Now take the loom and turn it with the open side to the right. Now let's make the wings. We need to place a pair of rows of light green color on the 1st and 2nd columns (st-ki) of the middle row. Here we will always take 2 rows. 2 rows on the 2nd st-ki of the middle and upper rows. Next, along the far row, we need to place 6 pairs of rows of light green color. Next, 4 pairs along the middle row. We throw a pair of rows on the 2nd st-ki of the near and middle rows. We throw 2 pairs of rows on the near row. We throw 1 row on the 3rd st-ki of all rows, 1 row on the 4th st-ki of all rows. 1 row on the 6th st-ki of the middle and upper rows. And another 1 row on the 5th st-ki of the middle and upper rows. Now we need to make feathers for the ends of the wings. To do this, simply make a chain of 3 pairs of yellow cuts twisted in half. You need 3 of these parts for the wing. Place them on the machine.On the 8th st of the top row, we twist 1 row 3 times.And we put the last row on the 4th stitch of the near row and on the 5th stitch of the middle row. We knit in the usual way, pulling and returning the rows to the stitch from which they are pulled. We start with the 8th stitch of the upper row. We knit first the upper row, then the middle one and finally the near one. We remove the weaving from the loom.We make another identical part.We need to place a pair of rows of light green color on the 1st and 2nd stitches of the middle row. Here we will always take 2 rows. 2 rows on the 2nd stitches of the middle and upper rows. We place 7 pairs of rows on the far row. We throw a pair of rows on the 2nd stitches of the near and middle rows. And we place 7 pairs of rows on the near row. On the middle row we place the rows to the end. That is, on all the stitches. We throw 1 row on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th stitches of all rows.On the 9th sts of the near and upper rows we will wind the row 3 times. And on the last st of the middle row too. Weave as for the wings. Remove the weaving.We will weave the parrot itself in 2 rows.On the near and far. The middle one can be removed. Take 2 rows again. Work with white rows, since the weaving starts from the head. Place a pair of rows on the loom somewhere in the middle, turning them in a figure eight. We need to place another pair, crossing the previous one.Next, simply arrange pairs of rows on 4 sts in a circle. Drop the bottom layer (2 rows). Hook the top 2 rows with a hook and stretch them forward on the st.We knit 5 regular rows.We always throw off 2 lower rows. Now turn the loom with the open side towards us. We pull a pair of rows onto the 1st stitches of both rows. Now we will make eyes. We will wind the black row three times and throw it onto a pair of white rows. We need 2 such eyes. We throw them onto the 1st and 2nd stitches of each row.Place the rows on the remaining sts. In the next row, attach the beak to sts 1 and 2 of both rows.We'll throw a pair on the remaining stitches as usual.white rows. Weave. Stretch the weaving. From 4 stitches, pull the 2 upper rows onto the stitch forward. Now we will weave on 10 stitches. Weave 1 row. Make spots under the beak. Wind the orange row three times and drop it onto a pair of white rows. Throw this detail onto the 1st and 2nd stitches of the upper row. And the same detail onto the 1st and 2nd stitches of the near row. Throw the rows onto the remaining stitches. But now we take a pair of 1 white and 1 light green row. Weave. Stretch the weaving again by transferring the 2 upper rows from the last stitches of both rows to the next stitch. Now we will weave on 12 stitches. We weave 1 row with light green rows and 1 row with green ones. We attach the wings to the 3rd and 4th stitches.And immediately remove the 2 lower rows from these stitches.Place the wings in the center of the loom and weave 1 row with green rows. As before, stretch the weaving over 2 stitches. And from the first stitches, transfer all the rows to the second stitches. Drop the bottom layer from the second stitches. Weave 1 row with green rows. You can take a different shade. Stretch the weaving again. Weave 2 rows. At this stage, attach the tail. Throw it over the last stitches of both rows. And weave 1 row. Collect all the elastic bands from the loom onto the hook. If convenient, you can use 2 hooks. Lengthen the row by fastening 3 pieces together with knots. Pass this row through all the loops on the hook, but do not tighten.Carefully turn the parrot inside out. Weave the legs.Twist the orange ring three times on the hook and drop it onto the double-twisted ring. Move the piece aside and repeat 2 more times. Remove all the loops from the hook onto the double-twisted ring. And remove again, but do not twist the ring.We stuff the parrot with padding polyester. We carefully pull it together so that the hole closes. We attach the legs to any convenient loops at the bottom. This is the parrot we get!
