Nice little things made with your own hands are notonly practical. They are always original, beautiful and uplifting. Like, for example, this bright set, crocheted and consisting of a small bag and a mobile phone case.
To work on it you need:- yarn of different colors (this set uses Troitskaya yarn Nika - 100% cotton, 350 m/100 g), - a hook (No. 2.5) that matches the yarn, - scissors, - threads of matching colors, - needle, - beads for decoration.
Both items are knitted using the same algorithm. These are the necessary patterns and colors.
Knitting starts from the bottom of the bag or cover. For the bag, we cast on 26 air loops, then 3 lifting loops and tie them with double crochets.
In the first and last loops we knit 9 double crochets. We finish making the bottom by tying single crochets into each loop. As a result, we get 66 loops.
Change the thread to blue and knit the pattern. In the first row, knit 3 double crochets into one loop, skip 2 loops and in the next one - again 3 double crochets. Repeat this until the end of the row.
In the second row, in the middle double crochet of the previous row, we knit 2 double crochets, separated by an air loop.
So these rows alternate. After 6 rows we change the thread to yellow and continue knitting.
We finish knitting with a lattice of columns withyarn over, separated by 2 air loops. In each arch of 2 air loops we knit a fan consisting of 4 double crochets, separated by 1 air loop.
You can make several rows of such fans.
This is what the bag looks like from the inside.
We decorate it with a knitted flower with a bead. We carefully sew the flower. We tie the last row of fans with thinner threads (for example, Dandy or Pelican)
Now we need to make a cord that willtighten the bag. To do this, knit a chain of air loops of the desired length from two threads. Secure its ends with knitted balls or large beads.
We thread the cord between the posts, secure the end – and the bag is ready!
The phone case is knitted in exactly the same way. Only for the bottom we cast on 11 air loops.
This is such a bright pair! The bag can be used as
cosmetic bags or a "house" for an audio player.
