A master class with a photo will show how to make a dandelion from the masses for modeling.
It's winter outside.And it is at this time of year that we miss the bright sun, juicy green grass and colorful wildflowers more than ever. One of these bright wildflowers is the dandelion, which itself looks like the sun. Girls love to weave wreaths from it, and boys - blow off the white fluff when it appears. And this master class shows how you can make a bright yellow dandelion with children from modeling clay, which will remind you of summer at any time of year.Materials and tools:
- mass for modeling;
- a rolling fork;
- stationery knife;
- needle.
Stages of work:For the dandelion, we will take two colors of modeling clay: yellow for the flower itself and green for the leaf and stem. Let's start making the flower. To do this, take the yellow clay and knead it well in your hands so that it becomes more flexible and soft. Now we need to roll it into a thin sausage fifteen centimeters long, its approximate diameter is five to seven millimeters. Next, we will roll it out with a special rolling pin for this clay. Or any other handy object that resembles a rolling pin. We need to get a thin strip one millimeter thick and about one and a half centimeters wide.Now, using a stationery knife orWith regular scissors we need to carefully make cuts one millimeter wide. We make vertical cuts and do not cut our strip all the way to the end. We need to leave a little mass at the bottom, which will hold the entire structure of the future flower.Next, we roll the resulting part into a roll. Straighten the petals. Those that stuck together during the rolling, be sure to separate with a needle.Now we will make the sepal. It will be green. Roll a small ball and make a depression in the middle. The depression can be made with a simple ballpoint pen.We will make notches on the top of the sepal using the same needle or a stationery knife.We insert the dandelion into the sepal and draw veins on it with a needle. Glue a little more green modeling mass on the bottom. And we mold a small stem from it.Let's make a dandelion bud in the same way.Take the same yellow strip that you made for the flower, only it should be twice as short. Roll it into a sausage. Roll it out with a rolling pin. And also cut it into petals. Roll it into a roll. It should be small.We also make a sepal, like the one we already havea blossoming dandelion. You will also need to make a stem from the bud, so that later we can attach the bud to the blossoming flower and assemble it into a composition. After that, we only have to make a leaf. Roll out the green modeling mass to a thickness of one millimeter and, using a stationery knife, cut out the approximate shape of a real dandelion leaf. You can first cut out a stencil from paper, or you can cut out the leaf by eye. Use a needle to draw a stripe in the middle. And go along the edges with a needle, drawing veins on the leaf. A dandelion does not have many veins, so do not get too carried away.We glue the blossoming flower together andbud. And we attach a leaf to them. Now it remains to put our dandelion aside for some time (a day) so that it hardens and turns into a plastic flower. Here is such a dandelion! Such a flower can be used in decor. For example, you can glue it to a hairpin or make a brooch, and you can also make many such dandelions and decorate a photo frame with them.
