A master class with a photo will teach you how to make valentines - a heart decorated with floral pattern and lace.

This decoration can be presented instead of a postcardto a close person or to make an interior accessory for the kitchen, by gluing a magnet. Similar decorations are also used in scrapbooking when creating albums and books. You will need:

• cardboard or plywood blank in the form of a heart;
• decoupage card with a floral pattern;
• PVA glue;
• brushes for glue;
• lace or braid;
• Glue gun;
• scissors;
• magnet;
• a decorative element in the form of a bouquet of roses.

Sequence of work: Using the plywood billet as a template, circle and cut out the heart from the decoupage card. Advice: in the absence of plywood billet, it can be made of cardboard, but in this case the product should be dried under the press so that the cardboard does not lose shape when the glue dries. Cover the workpiece with PVA glue, glue the heart from the decoupage map, carefully aligning the edges. When sticking a decoupage card, it is necessaryfirst immerse it in water for one minute, then paste on the surface covered with glue, smoothing the bubbles and wrinkles with a brush. Tip: instead of a card, you can use scrapbooking paper or decontamination napkins. Allow the product to dry, cut off the edges of the decoupage card that extend beyond the edges of the workpiece. Choose a suitable lace or braid. Stick them better with a glue gun, applying a glue layer with a narrow strip along the outlined contour. Trim excess lace over the edgesproducts. Stick a miniature bouquet of roses on a drop of hot glue; the bouquet can be easily replaced with a beautiful large bead, a button with an ornament or a piece of jewelry. A neat bow of ribbon is also suitable. Try to combine the ornament of the heart and the bouquet: these may not be necessarily roses, but, for example, forget-me-nots or field flowers. On the back of the product, glue the magnet toattachment to the refrigerator or hood. In case of use of an ornament as a postcard, the reverse side should be pasted with white paper with congratulations and wishes printed on it. Such cards can be given to manyholidays - birthdays, Valentine's Day, March 8, the day of marriage. The rich stocks of decorative elements conceal in itself the shops of fabrics and needlework. Sometimes a successful purchase of one of them may entail the creation of a plan for a future craft.
