Molding is a popular kind of hobby and needlework and forchildren, and adults. For babies this is the time when they can create funny crafts, sculpt funny animals or flowers, while for adults, modeling can be a real hobby that can reveal all facets of creativity. There are a lot of materials for modeling. Crafts are made of plasticine, culinary mastic, dough, natural and, of course, polymer clay. This raw material for needlework conquers more and more hearts of needlewomen all over the world. A lot of colors and shades, varying degrees of transparency, sparkles, metallic effect and fluorescence, all these qualities make it possible to create with their own hands surprisingly beautiful and original products. Polymer clay can be of two types - baked and self-hardening, the latter also includes a material such as cold porcelain, although when it solidifies there is no polymerization process. The baked clay - thermoplastic is subjected to heat treatment at a temperature of 110 to 130 ° C in an oven or "boiled" in boiling water for several minutes. Molded from plastic are a variety of crafts. Original earrings, bracelets, rings and pendants, various dolls, from decorative and amusing, ending with author's and author's dolls, reborn. Polymer clay is decorated with hairpins and hair hoops, from it needlewomen create very beautiful flowers that are not distinguishable from the real ones, and decorate the dishes. This article shows a master class on decorating an ordinary glass pot with polymer clay and turning it into a stunning masterpiece that will decorate itself and give a certain style to the room. It will take:
- Glass pot with lid;
- Thermoplastic pearl, yellow, gold, sand, orange and dark copper, brown and three different shades of green;
- Pasta machine;
- Roller for polymer clay;
- Stationery knife;
- Set of stacks;
- Glossy varnish.
Before work, the surface of the pot must be degreased with alcohol. Flowers. Roll sausages of all colors and arrange them in the following sequence from top to bottom: pearl sausage, yellow, gold, sand, gold, orange, dark copper. Slightly roll out the rolling pin. Pass through the paste-machine several times vertically, trying to mix colors. Fold the layer in half and let it pass through the paste machine now horizontally. Cut 1/3 along the layer to create a flowerlilies. Pass through the extruder a mixture of dark copper and orange colors. To give the lily petals natural specks, you can use not completely mashed clay. It turned out a thin long lace. Cut it into pieces that are 1/3 wide and spread out some distance from each other starting from the pearl edge and ending with the place of transition into orange. Roll 2 rolls. One with a sliced lace and a second one. Begin to squeeze the cane with pieces of string. To a diameter of about 1 - 0.7 cm. Squeeze the entire cane and cut it in half. Dark sauces are noticeable on sausages, it is necessary to give them the shape of petals (flattened), the dark strip should be on one side of the petal. Join the workpieces so that the dark sides touch. Cut the workpiece-cane into thin pieces. This is the lily petals. Make a longitudinal furrow groove on each flower. For the stamens cut into small pieces of a rolled up thinner little cord. On a stack with a sharp end, place it evenlysix stamens. Now it is necessary to attach the petals in such a way that the stamens are in the grooves of the petals. First fix the three petals, then top three more. In a checkerboard pattern. The edges of the petals are sharpened with fingers and slightly curved, like real flowers. To blind the remaining flowers. That's about how they will be located. Buds. To make the same cane, as well as for flowers, but without stretch-pieces. Give the sausage-cane slightly flattened from above and from below the shape. Cut the pieces. Bend along the oval so that the light middle was outside. Add 3 of these blanks. These are buds. Leaves. Fold thin sausages of dark green, medium green, sand and light green. Pass several times through the paste machine first vertically, and then horizontally. Roll rolled into a sausage, the lightest green shade should be in the center. Squeeze the cane along the entire length so that a very elongated drop is produced in the cut. Cut into thin plates. These are leaves. Slightly bend and tighten them. Pot. Cover the entire surface of the glass vessel with a brown baked polymer clay. From the dark green plastic roll 12 sausagesstems and stick evenly around the perimeter of the pot. Attach the flowers to the tops of the stems, pressing them in the middle of the stack so that they are pressed into the brown clay covering the pot. Stick the buds into small pieces of stems and leaves. To give the pot a certain texture roll small balls and arbitrarily arrange them on the sides of the pot, slightly pressing them with your finger. Stack the holes in the center of the balls and press the same holes next to them around the pot. For each flower, you need to make 1 stamen + 5-6 tiny balls. Place them in the center of each flower. Give the top edge of the pot a texture like thiswas done with the sides (balls with holes). For each lily it is necessary to make a bulb. To do this, roll a thin sausage brown. For one bulb cut three large and two small pieces. The edges of these sausages bend and blind three large in the middle and two small sausages on the sides. Attach the bulbs down to the stems. The bottom of the pot is decorated with roots. To do this, pass the brown clay through the extruder. Cut into pieces and twist from one edge. From each bulb, attach several roots to the bottom of the pot with varying degrees of envy. From the part of the cord, roll more small balls and give the bottom a texture like on the sides of the pot. Pot cover. Pour on top of the cover part another layer of clay. The edges do not smooth out. Attach more balls and stack, as before, to make pits in random order. Bake the resulting construction. After cooling, you can shade the individual parts with dark brown acrylic paint and cover it with varnish. Our pot is ready.
