Rug of towels with your own hands
Bath terry towels do not last forever, and afterseveral years of active use lose their appearance, wear out in places or even tear. What to do with them? Some people make dust rags out of them, others throw them away, but we suggest making a soft rug for the bathroom, toilet or hallway out of old towels! A small and simple master class will help with this. In order to make a rug from towels with your own hands, you will need:
- 3-4 large (or small) terry towels (an old terry robe will also do);
- scissors;
- Needle and thread;

How to Make a Towel Rug with Your Own Hands: Steps to Follow
⇒ Step 1.The rug can be plain or multi-colored, depending on the original material. Take the towels and cut them into long strips 6-8 cm wide. The size and thickness of the rug will again depend on what kind of towels you have, how many of them and what width of strip you cut.
⇒ Step 2. Let's not reinvent the wheel.The base of the rug is a regular "braid" of three strips of towel. There are two options for working: either you braid individual braids and then sew them together, or first sew the strips together and then braid a long braid from them. The second option looks neater and more beautiful in the finished form, since the joints of individual braids are not visible.
⇒ Step 3. In any case, when braiding the braid, use pins so that the braid does not become skewed, and every 10-15 cm, discreetly secure the braid on the back side with a thread.
⇒ Step 4. When the braid is ready, start twisting it into a circle from the center, securing it with a thread.
