An unusual door from the bars created by designerscompany Matharoo Associates for the residence of an Indian diamond magnate. The design refutes our familiar idea of the door as a vertical plane opening in one given direction. In this unique project, the door can be movedand twist into a spiral, which is a bit like a draped curtain. Thanks to the technological design features, the tree really looked like a fabric that can be thrown away, like a curtain. The door consists of 40 separate blocks of solid Burmese teak, which can move independently of each other, for example, fan out. The bars are attached to the steel cable, and the counterweight is hidden in the floor. In the closed state, the door looks enoughordinary, except that massive, huge, with horizontally arranged bars. But just push the door out of the bars - and its contours will transform into a smooth curve, letting in the sunshine and dear guests!
