A narrow summer house Walden for outdoor recreation
Works of art of some creative personalitiesinspire others to create their own creations. Writer Henry Toro in 1845-1847 he lived in a self-built hut on the shores of the Walden pond, independently providing himself with everything necessary for life. This experiment of seclusion from society, he soon described in his book "Walden, or Life in the Woods." And the Dutch architect Nils Holger Moormann impressed by this book designed and built a wooden summer cottage - a secluded refuge for outdoor recreation. The original summer cottage was named Waldenin honor of the pond described in the book. The structure looks like a narrow high garden shed. By and large, it is difficult to call it a full-fledged house, although this does not prevent you from enjoying the unity with nature and simple life outside of civilization.
On the facade of a miniature villa are variousCompartments for storage of necessary things for rest and garden tools. All items are open for review and exhibited as if the decorative decoration of the house. There are spaces for storing firewood and a hanging pot, where you can cook delicious food in the fresh air, next to the compartment with glasses and dishes, there are sections with a starling house, watering can, hose, tools, a closet for things.
After a hot day of work in the garden or in the gardenyou can relax in the recreation area, located in the through aperture of the structure. A table and soft sofas have a leisurely conversation with a glass of a soft drink, and for privacy there are curtains on both sides. Above the entrance to the opening is a retractable canopy, which will save from the hot sun on a summer day.
When all the talk subsides and barely smolder the embersbonfire, you can climb the ladder to the second level of the summer house, where there is a narrow sleeping area. A glass window in the roof allows you to enjoy the starry sky. If desired, the window can be pushed aside and feel the whiff of a fresh night wind!
