Weaving goats from newspaper tubes, master class / Toys with their own hands, patterns, video, MK

Author: Заноза.I think everyone has a stack of unnecessary newspapers or magazines - throwing away the hand does not go up, but it takes a lot of space. We will make our Goat out of this waste paper. We will apply the now popular technique - weaving from the vine. With one difference - a vine we take not natural, but we will manufacture ourselves with the help of a material of not less flexible, but more durable - newspapers. goat from newspaper tubesMaterials and toolsFor weaving we will need:

  • newspapers or magazines;
  • PVA glue;
  • thin needle 1,5-2,5 mm or skewer;
  • water stain;
  • brush for painting;
  • tray (optional);
  • scissors or clerical knife;
  • acrylic lacquer (you can do without it);
  • Ruler.

Making vines from the newspaper First we needmake a paper vine. Immediately make a reservation that for the production of tubes you can use not only newspapers and magazines, but also written, fax paper and even a check tape. Writing paper is the most pliable basis for weaving, journalistic is very capricious and difficult for beginners. We will take the average version - newsprint. We fold the newspaper in half, then cut along the fold line with scissors or a clerical knife. The resulting halves are folded again, cut again. As a result, from one newspaper sheet you should get 4 bands about 10-11 cm wide. I'll open one small trick: to get light tubes without letters, use only the edge strips of a newspaper with a white edge. goat from newspapersWe put the needle on the very edge of the newspaper strip underangle of 30-40º, then start as tightly as possible to wind the newspaper on the spoke. Having screwed up to the end, we put on a corner glue and slightly we twist between fingers. Then gently pull the spoke out of the tube. Pay attention that the diameter of the upper edge of the tube should be wider than the lower one by about 2-3 mm. This is necessary for the possibility of building up our vines in the process of weaving. We will connect the tubes by inserting the narrow tip into the wide one. Painting and storing the paper vines Because the blue-green goat is ours, we will paint the resulting newspaper vine. For painting, you can use any stain on a water basis. The most suitable in this case is the color "nut". For clothes and decor, you can paint some of the vines from newspapers in a different tone, for example "mahogany." Let the newspaper vine dry a little. But do not overdo it! Wet tubes are more pliable, weave them much easier. Too dry tubes from newspapers will be fragile and inflexible. If you are not going to weave immediately, wrap the vine in a food film. For long-term storage it is recommended to use a vacuum bag with a valve. In the event that the tubes are still dry, shortly before weaving, moisten them with water from the atomizer and let them lie down for a while. Weaving Now, we go directly to the weaving of our goat:

  • First, we'll make the workpiece. We split one tube in half. To ensure that the vine is not untwisted, glue the place of the incision.
  • On one of the halves obtained, we tie knots. We get improvised feet with hoofs. The second half is folded in half and cut the tips diagonally. These will be horns for our Goat.
  • We take two tubes and connect them to one big one. This will be the main frame of our goat. By stacking our eight-core tube, we form the ears. Note that the hanging ends (racks) should be approximately the same in length.
  • We bend the upstairs up, we pass between the ears, we turn back - the muzzle is formed.
  • The workpiece for the horns is glued to the muzzle. Also we glue an additional tube to the head, and we need to glue it with a wider end. Grease the top of the face with glue and start wrapping in a circle. But not from the very end, but a little back - we get a nose and lips.
  • So we wind up to the top. Then we start the tube back and make two turns - the neck turns out.
  • To form a dress we attach a tube of a different color.
  • We raise a little our base and weave the body of the figure-eight - three turns around each rack. We put paws, braiding them in a circle.
  • Then again, weave the figure-eight, make 5-6 turns, by the end of the weaving it is a little narrowing. The trunk is formed. The end of the tube we put into the rack and carefully glued.
  • And at last, on knees we tie knot-knots. Each hoof well glaze with glue. Leave to dry.
  • If desired, you can additionally cover the workpiece with acrylic lacquer. The goat will get shine, but it will lose a bit in flexibility.
  • goat from newspaper tubesDepending on who you want to make- goat or goat, you can "dress" a figure in a dress, skirt or panties. You can tie a tie, add accessories to the set - for example, a handbag, or put on a sofa. With the help of a magnetic sticker, it is possible to make a goat magnet on the refrigerator. It all depends on your imagination. goat from newspaper tubesIf you have children, involve them in the processweaving. After all, joint occupation by needlework is one of the most effective methods of education, it helps to establish a trusting relationship between parents and children. In addition, the weaving from the newspaper vines remarkably develops the fine motor skills of the hands, as well as it is a good stimulus for the development of the creative potential of the child. Be careful, create, experiment! Wicker Goat will surely bring you and your family good luck and prosperity.
