Japanese origami technique in the simple description of the manufacture of a super-ball. Photo №1The classic kusudama superball is performedby masters from forty details-modules. Details can be of different sizes accordingly and the super ball can be obtained, large and small. For those who have not yet encountered this type of handicraft, at the first stages it will be difficult, but if desired, there is always the opportunity to learn everything. The number of modules for making a super ball can be different, for beginners you can use 6 and 12. Initially, you can try your hand at making a super ball from forty modules. To make such a kusudama super ball you will need: - beads - colored paper of different shades - double-sided tape - PVA.So, let's get to work: 1.First, take a square sheet of colored paper, placing the colored side face down. Then fold the sheet in half along a diagonal line (you can draw it with a pencil). We have made a triangle. The resulting triangle must again be folded in half. Next, pull out the upper part of the resulting triangle. As a result, we get a square module with a diagonal bend. 2. Next, holding the module with your finger in the center, slightly open its top, resembling a pocket on all sides, so that the module looks like an elongated rhombus with a diagonal bend. After this, you will need to bring all the resulting walls of our module to the diagonal. Next, after the manipulations done, bend the lower corners and fix them at the fold. 3. Having opened the module, you need to check all the fold lines for clarity. And the corners on all sides are folded inward so that they correspond to the four diagonals. One module is ready! It remains to make more modules in a similar way. There should be 40 of them in total. After the "building material" modules are ready, we will start assembling them into a ball. Please note that the modules should be glued in pairs, pressing them together with their sides. You should also remember to keep an eye on symmetry, as the ball may turn out uneven and sloppy. When all the parts are glued, the ball can bedecorate with beads, seed beads or ribbons. But do not overload your craft with decorative elements, because kusudama is a paper ball and it is simply unnecessary to weigh it down. That's it! The super ball is ready! There are different technologies for assembling modules. Here is another option:Using this technology, you can make an original ball like thisKusudama will look attractive andoriginal, if you tie it to a decorative cord and hang it beautifully.
