An unusual lamp - a night light with an hourglass
Designer Vanessa Hordies (Vanessa Hordies) createdthis original lamp is a night lamp, which operates on the principle of hourglasses, gradually falling asleep light with sand. Named Night Night, the prototype has a wooden base with an electric stuffing and a glass case in the form of an hourglass containing a light source and sand. 
Night Night is a charming table lamp,accompanying people in the world of dreams. Studies have shown that, on average, a person needs 10-20 minutes to fall asleep. Therefore, this night lamp is equipped with a special timer, designed for 15 minutes. When you turn on the hourglass, the timer also turns on. This saves energy, the luminaire leads you to sleep and turns off. 
But, of course, the most interesting isinteraction of sand and light. As in the real hourglass, when you turn over the night light, sand begins to pour from the upper vessel to the bottom, gradually falling asleep a light source. The lamp gradually fades, plunging the room into a sleepy, twilight. And after 15 minutes the bulb completely sinks in the sand and turns off.
