We propose to tie toys by our own hands in our master class, we will show how the hedgehog crochet.
A hedgehog is a forest dweller who has a prickly back, butvery kind and sweet nature. He loves mushrooms and berries, collects them and carries them to the burrow on their needles. When the danger becomes a continuous ball of needles. It is this cute and funny little animal I propose to tie in my master class. Knit it is not difficult, but certain skills are still necessary. For the hedgehog you will need:
- white (milky) acrylic 75 grams / 120-150 meters;
- yarn "Grass" or any other fluffy yarn black and white or gray - 50 m (25-30 g);
- two black buttons (you can use ready-made eyes for toys);
- black bead for the spout (you can also use a ready-made spout);
- wadding or sintepon for packing;
- hooks No. 5 and 7;
- pink felt or foamiran;
- black thread;
- needles - an ordinary and a large puppet needle.
Let's start knitting our hedgehog, of course, from the trunk. We will have it in the form of a ball of white acrylic. We will select a chain of four air loops and connect the first and last loops. Now in the resulting ring we will connect 8 simple posts, without a crochet.
Next we will continue to knit in a circle, doing in eacha series of 8 increases. We distribute them evenly throughout the circle. For example, in the second row from each eyelet we will tie two. We obtain a row of 16 columns. In the third row, we will make increments no longer in each loop, but in one. In the row we get 24 bars. In the next row - through two loops, we get 32 loops. And so we will bind up to 64 loops. We repeat the row in 64 loops without adding again. After that, we need to make in the series 6 additions and get a round of 70 loops as a result. For this, you can skip two increases, for example, 1 and 4. We get this circle.
Now you need to form a ball. Repeat the series of 70 loops a further 15 times. After that, we will knit all the same in the reverse order. First we make 6 adjustments. We obtain a series of 64 loops. We'll use it once without changes. And then we will do 8 exclusions in each row. When there are 24 stitches in the row, you will need to properly fill the body of our hedgehog. And finish knitting the torso with 4 loops knitted together. The body-ball for our hedgehog is ready.
Now you need to tie two front paws, two hind legs, a nose, a mouth, two ears and a fur coat for our hedgehog. I began to knit from the front paws. To do this, we connect a chain of 10 loops.
We will connect them in a ringlet.
Paws will knit in a spiral, without making a looplifting. In total, we connect 60 loops. Here you need to try on the feet to the torso. They should not look too long and not too short. If necessary, tie a few more rows or tie a smaller number of loops.
Now we'll pair the loops together in pairs to finish our paw.
When there are 2 loops left on the hook, we will tie them together and cut off the thread. Tighten the tail of the thread into the foot. That's such a foot should be. We knit the second leg in exactly the same way.
The hind legs of our hedgehog will be round. We'll start knitting them exactly the same way as the body of our hedgehog - we'll tie a circle. But we will stop on 24 loops.
Once again, repeat the series of 24 loops.
And we will start decreasing.
On 8 loops a little we will fill our foot and we will finish knitting, having tied together last 4 loops. This is how the finished foot should look.
Now let's tie the hedgehog nose. We make a ring of 12 air loops.
The first row will be linked without changes - 12 simplecolumns. Then we begin to reduce the number of loops by two in each row. The third row - 10 loops, the fourth - 8, the fifth - 6, the sixth - 4 and the last (sixth) row - 2 loops. Finish by tying these loops together. Cut the thread and tighten it into the spout.
We still have three parts of white color - the mouth and ears. We will connect them flat. For the mouth, we'll type 4 loops.
And we will tie them from two sides with 9 simple posts.
Here's the scheme.
The ear begins to knit just like the mouth, but 3loops. Accordingly, in the second row there will be 7 loops. For the ears we'll make one more row. By tying the chain around the first row of columns, turn the knitting and turn the loop to raise. In the first column we will fasten a column without a crochet. Next, we connect the column to each column. Having reached the top (fourth column), we will link it to 3 posts. Then again make 2 bars in each column of the previous row. In the last loop we make two bars. Let's finish knitting. We make two such ears.
In total we should have 2 front legs, 2 hind legs, nose, mouth and two ears.
Now it's time to try all the blanks on the body of our hedgehog. For convenience, we fix all the details on the hedgehog with pins.
When all parts of the body have found their place, you cansew them. Here the order is absolutely not important, the main thing is not to shift anything during sewing. I began sewing parts from the spout. When sewing, the spout should be slightly filled with cotton or a sintepon and form a small "snub".
From pink felt, fabric or foyamiran we'll cut out the tongue.
And we sew it between the mouth and the nose of the hedgehog.
The front legs are also slightly rounded, slightly stuffed with cotton wool or sintepon. That's what a hedgehog looks like when all the details are sewn.
Now let's look into the eyes. We define the place for them by pins.
Now, for greater beauty, we will form smalleye cavities. To do this, take a large needle. It should be so long as to pass through the whole body of the hedgehog. We fix the thread on the nape of the hedgehog and pierce the body so that the needle emerges exactly in the place of the future eye.
We return the needle back to the back of the head, making a small stitch.
Strongly pull, until the necessary deepening is formed, and we fix the thread well.
Let's repeat the same for the second eye.
Now in the resulting eye cavities we sew our buttons.
And on the tip of the nozzle - a bead.
It remains only to tie a fur coat to our forest handsome. For the fur coat we take the thread "Grass".
And we will arbitrarily knit a circle of these threads. Knit can be both simple columns, and columns with a single crochet. Columns with a crochet will be much faster, but with simple columns the fur coat will turn out to be more fluffy and beautiful.
We knit a circle of sufficiently large diameter.
And try on a fur coat on our hedgehog.
If the circle from the "Grass" is large enough, then cut the thread and sew a fur coat.
Our little hedgehog is ready. It can be put on the shelf or donated. In any case, and from knitting, and from the result will receive a lot of positive emotions!
