Old furniture as plantations and pots for plants
Designers Peter Bottazzi and Denish Bonapace presented this collection of furniture transformed into boxes and planters for indoor plants, medicinal herbs, shrubs and trees. The hybrid furniture series is called DaMorto A Orto, which means “from excess to abundance”, is not just a collection of parts of unnecessary things, it is a critical, ironic rethinking of everyday objects that we already consider obsolete: objects and furniture in the house, destined to disappear and be destroyed, are reanimated with a new look, green and ecological.Unusual containers - flower pots made ofchairs, chests of drawers, pipes and boxes are skillfully crossed with each other before plants are grafted onto them. This is how real vegetable gardens and indoor plantations are created. Such green room decor will also look great in the garden, at the dacha. The project is intended to become the firsta step in a series of initiatives that blend culture and gardening together to enable people to develop and explore issues related to personal development, preservation of identity, home, city and planet.
