It will be enough to measure your own height and necessarily the length from the armpit to the ankle. This length will serve as the length of our product - so measure everything carefully. Next, we can start cutting out a rectangle from our material, the length of which will be equal to our measured length. We stitch the resulting rectangle along the edge so that we get a fabric that resembles a sleeve or a pipe with two holes. After that, we process the edge of this "sleeve" on a sewing machine. We do this with an overlock stitch, it will secure the threads of the fabric and prevent the sundress from spreading and crumbling in the future. Now, probably the most difficult thing is to sew on our elastic band with a sewing machine, which will be located on the chest. Thus, we will need to lay ten seams at a distance of one centimeter from each other. Our tightening elastic band should be their basis. We will tuck it into the shuttle of the sewing machine. It is thanks to this tightening in the chest area that you will not need to wear underwear under this summer sundress.
