How to sew a lace dress Before you startWhen cutting out lace material, you need to place it on a smooth surface, but first put a piece of fabric of one shade of a bright color underneath it so that the lace stands out. Finish the cuts with an overlock or a zigzag stitch. Sew the details of the lace material using the same method. There are lace fabrics whose cuts do not fly around, and they do not need to be finished with an overlock. But in order for the dress model to look neat, it is better to process it with a zigzag stitch. Place the lace dress on the lining with the inside to the outside of the cover and sew it. Sew the neckline cuts with a blind stitch yourself. If you want to make a hidden zipper in the outfit, then sew it along the cuts of the back, connecting both the lace fabric and the lining. Then, you can sew using the method of working with hidden fasteners. There is no need to process the cut of the outfit at the bottom, it will be interestingly decorated with scallops. And hem the lining 20-30 mm less than the lace. Fold it twice first by 5 mm, then by 20 mm and stitch on a sewing machine.
