How to make an original package of gifts in the form of a cake yourself, a diagram and step-by-step photos of the main stages of work.

You must understand that in order to make an even greater impression, your gift should be properly packaged. And there are many options for such packaging. This article offers you the process of creating an original gift box in the form of pieces of cake. Such work is absolutely not difficult and you can easily do it yourself. First, you need to prepare colored paper (as you understand, it should be thick enough so that our box lasts as long as possible), tools that are needed to make any craft and for decoration we will need ribbons. Manufacturing process Our box in the form of a cake will consist of 12 separate pieces. To make the work brighter, you can make them using paper of different colors. So that we can make identical pieces without much effort, you should initially prepare a template. You can see it below in the picture. Redraw the diagram, adjusting it to the size you need or simply print it out. Then the template needs to be cut out and transferred to colored paper. Mark all the existing folds, it will be much easier to fold the package along them.Cut out all the pieces and glue them in two places.Use the glue that you are comfortable working with. In this way, you need to assemble all the pieces of our cake. Now make neat cuts on the back of the blank. This is done so that the boxes close easily. You can use a blade or a small stationery knife.When all the pieces are ready, you can startdecor. In this work, white satin ribbon was used. All the boxes were wrapped in it and firmly attached with glue. Decorative bows should be made from the same ribbon. To do this, prepare pieces of about 15 cm. To make the bows look most beautiful, first use glue to make a blank like the one in the photo.Then, using a narrower ribbon, fasten them in the middle. This will give the bows a finished look.Attach them to the back of each box.You can decorate the top of the finished cake as you wish.This is how we got it in such a simple waya whole set of gifts that can be filled with small souvenirs or sweets.
