No New Year does not do without the smell of spruce andmandarin women. On the eve of the beloved holiday, the houses are filled with this wonderful fragrance, creating a festive mood for us. Always the smell of this fruit is associated with the main day of the year and casts thoughts about magic and fun. And that this mood for a long time did not leave us, I propose to weave a mandarin orange from a rubber band! It does not even have such a wonderful smell, but its appearance can remind us of the festive time.
Materials and tools
- Erasers of orange, yellow and green colors;
- Two hooks;
- Two pencils;
Stages of work
The mandarin can be weaved on a machine or slingshot,but not all of them have, so in this master class we will manage with improvised materials. The machine may not all have, but two pencils, perhaps, will find any. Therefore, we will prepare two pencils. Take a piece of any paper and put it together a few times. We will need to insert it between the pencils to simulate the slingshot. Using scotch tape pencils to each other, placing a paper between them. Pencils need to be reeled up on one level. The tool is ready, you can go directly to the weave. We put on two orange-colored rubber pants on the first pencil and, twisting the figure-eight, we put on the second pencil. Next, two rubber bands of the same color are put on both pencils, without twisting. Remove the two lower bands from both pencils. Again, put on two elastic bands and take off the bottomlayer. So you need to weave five pairs of rubber bands. Each weft of the mandarin we will weave from five pairs. Therefore, for convenience, you can lay out the rubber bands at once. Three pairs of rubber bands we have already woven, so you need to weave two more pairs. We remove our lobule on the hook. If there is no other hook, then we can put the weave on any other convenient object. For example, on another pencil or pen, brush, tweezers and so on. In general, anything that can hold the eyelets of the lobules for a while. The next series will do the same, but now we'll use the orange and yellow gum so that our mandarin dough is not boring and more like a real fruit. That is, in this row we weave five pairs of rubber bands, one of which is yellow, and the other is orange. We also put this segment on the hook. The next lobule will be orange, so her plait of five pairs of orange rubber bands. In total we need to weave eight such lobules. Four of them will be completely orange, and the other four will consist of orange and yellow bands. All eight lobules are put on one hook. We take an elastic band of orange or yellow color and we hook it with the tip of the hook. Carefully transfer all the lobules from the hook to thispulling it back with a finger. It is better to drag the loops one by one so that they all move without problems. The second side of the rubber band is put on the hook. On the hook are two hinges. We draw the first through the second and get a knot. We will tighten it neatly, but firmly. Now we need to put on the hook the upper loops of the lobules. At the end of each lobule there are four loops. We put them on the hook. Now we transfer all these loops to one greenor brown rubber. Take off carefully, so as not to catch too much. The second end of the rubber band is put on the hook. And again we make a knot, stretching the first loop through the second. We tighten it properly so that all the lobules converge. Straighten the mandarin. Our tangerine is ready! It does not need to be stuffed with anything, it will itself be voluminous. The protruding loop can be hidden inside the mandarin, and you can leave it to hang on the Christmas tree.
