How to weave a Christmas wreath for a festive decor? Step-by-step instructions and photos, a list of necessary materials

Did you know that of the many different coloredrubber bands can be weaved not only bracelets and other similar ornaments, but also no less original figures. And it is also not difficult to do this if you master the basic rules and follow the technique of weaving. As auxiliary tools for making figurines, also use a special machine, slingshot, hook or suitable improvised means (pencils, forks, scallop, fingers). I suggest we try and create something similar. And given that very soon we will receive the most beloved and long-awaited many New Year's and Christmas holidays, we will weave a traditional Christmas wreath. Such a small figure can later become an original Christmas tree toy, an unusual theme keychain or a stylish decoration - a pendant, earrings, a pendant. Even such a sweet wreath, you can present as a gift to your relatives, friends or colleagues, thereby raising their pre-holiday mood.

Necessary tools and materials

So, to weave a Christmas wreath of rubber bands, we need:

  • thin colored rubber bands of red, yellow and green;
  • slingshot;
  • hook.

Description of work

1. Take our horn, turn it with oblong recessed holes to our face and put on the right column the first green gum in three turns. A photo for a lesson on the weaving of a Christmas wreath. Now, using a plastic hook, carefully remove the first elastic band consisting of three turns from the right column to the center of the upper pair of rubber bands. After that, we take one elastic band of red color and one yellow, connect them together and reel them both on the hook in three turns. It will be the first traditional Christmas flower - poinsettia, of course in nature it has a slightly different shape, but the color combination is the same. Then, from the right column crochet remove the top pair of green rubber bands and pull them neatly with a skein of rubber bands of red and yellow. Further by means of a hook we remove from the left column of our horns two green rubber bands and we throw them on the middle of the upper pair. Similarly, we do this procedure on the left side, namely we remove green rubber bands from the left column and we drop them onto the center of the upper ones, where there is already a rubber loop from the next column. Now from one red and one yellow gum form the next hank, twisting them on the hook in two turns, after which we remove the crocheted pair of green rubber bands from the right side of the slingshot and drag them to the colored ones. A pair of green rubber bands is again thrown on the right side of the slingshot, thus obtaining the second wreath wreathed in a Christmas flower. A shawl in the manner described above, wreaths of the desired length, about it should be 10 flowers, but you can make the figure smaller or larger - at your discretion. In order to finish the weaving of the product, after the next drop of both lower rubber bands to the middle of the upper green pair, do not throw anything else. After that, we take one more green rubber and pull it through all the hinges on the hook, and it itself from two sides we put on the hook, as it is shown in the photo below. Next, the first loop of rubber, stretch through the second, and tighten, thus forming a bundle and loop, for which our ready Christmas wreath can be hung on a twig of a Christmas tree or any other place. You can also show your imagination and replace, the gum colors, which in our case red and yellow, for other color options, will turn out very brightly and elegantly.
