How to weave a Christmas wreath for a festive decor? Step-by-step instructions and photos, a list of necessary materials

Did you know that out of the many different coloredrubber bands can be used to weave not only bracelets and other similar decorations, but also no less original figures. Moreover, it is also not difficult to do this if you master the basic rules and strictly follow the weaving technique. As auxiliary tools for making figures, they also use a special machine, a slingshot, a hook or suitable improvised means (pencils, forks, a comb, fingers). I suggest that we try to create something similar. And considering that very soon the most beloved and long-awaited New Year and Christmas holidays will come to us, we will weave a traditional Christmas wreath. Such a small figure can later become an original Christmas tree toy, an unusual themed keychain or a stylish decoration - a pendant, earrings, a pendant. You can also present such a cute wreath as a gift to your family, friends or colleagues, thereby raising their pre-holiday mood.

Necessary tools and materials

So, to weave a Christmas wreath from rubber bands we will need:

  • thin colored rubber bands of red, yellow and green;
  • slingshot;
  • hook.

Description of work

1. We take our slingshot, turn it so that the oblong deepened holes are facing us and we throw the first green rubber band onto the right post in three turns.A photo for a lesson on the weaving of a Christmas wreath. Photo №44.After that, take one red and one yellow rubber band, connect them together and wind both of them on the hook three times at once. Photo Number 1414.We weave a wreath of the length we need using the method described above, it should have approximately 10 flowers, but you can make the figure smaller or larger - at your discretion. You can also show your imagination and replace the rubber bands of colors, which in our case are red and yellow, with other colored options, it will turn out very bright and elegant.
