Empty corners in the room can and should be usedwith benefit! Special corner shelves will decorate the corner and create additional space for books and things. An interesting solution was presented by the designers of the Fundamental Shop studio - a corner shelf with the telling name "A few of my favorite things".
The block can be placed either vertically in the corner,horizontally on the wall or on the surface of a table, floor as a superstructure. And from several blocks you can assemble a modular rack, as if made entirely of wooden cubes.
A characteristic feature of solid wood,which the blocks are made is that the cracks expand and contract depending on the temperature and humidity of the air. Therefore, the nature and texture of the wood will change over time. In this case, the cracks do not affect the structural integrity of the shelf.
