Of course, you can buy this hat, but if you make it yourself, it will save you some money, and you will be proud that you managed to add a little magic to the holiday. So, we present to your attention a master class on sewing a Santa Claus New Year's hat. To make it, you will need:

Fleece is bright red and white,
white and red sewing thread,

First you need to make a pattern.The main part of the cap looks like an equilateral triangle, the height of which should be 45-50 centimeters, and the length of the base should be equal to the measurement of the head circumference divided in half. After the cap pattern is ready, fold the main fabric with the right side inward, and transfer the contours of the pattern to the wrong side. From white fabric, cut out strips, the length of which is equal to the base of the cap, and the width is 6-7 centimeters.Then cut out the pieces. Place the main piece with the strip of white fabric right sides together, align the edges, pin and stitch, the seam width is usually one centimeter. Fold the resulting panels again with the right sides facing inward, align the side cuts and stitch along one side. Now we need to decorate ours a littlecap. In our case, we will use white fleece snowflakes for this. To do this, cut out small snowflakes from white fleece, baste or pin them to the unfolded part. Along the contour of the snowflakes, make a stitch called a "zigzag".After folding the piece in half, process the remaining side cut.This is what our cap looks like at this stage.We make a bell from white fleece. We fill it with padding polyester. Then we sew it to the cap. We cut out the lining.Please note that the lining piece on each side, except for the base, should be one centimeter smaller. We process the side seams of the lining in the same way as we previously processed the main piece. Now we fold the main part and the liningbase, pin it, baste it and stitch it, leaving a small opening for turning it inside out. After turning it inside out, sew it up with blind stitches. And now, our homemade Santa Claus hat is ready and you can put it on!
