Original chair from the trunk of a tree
This wooden chair was made by a Dutchmanby designer Floris Wubben by tying willow branches together so that they grow like 4 legs of a chair. The seat and back were then cut out and the whole structure was turned upside down. The chair was designed in collaboration with artist Bauke Fokkema. I think you can see a lot of original ideas for chairs and stools in stumps and stumps in logging sites.
