Very often, not knowing what exactly to give, manyPeople prefer to give money. What could be more banal? But what can you do if this is the only option that comes to mind. You can make your gift more original by placing it in a beautiful envelope. And even better if you try to make it yourself. To make such an envelope, you will not need too many materials. Prepare scrapbooking paper, thinner patterned paper, all sorts of decorative components, as well as glue with double-sided tape.
Step-by-step instructions for creating an originalmoney envelope Cut out a rectangle from a sheet of thick paper (you can use scrapbooking paper). Its length should be twice its width. To make your envelope look beautiful both on the outside and on the inside, choose paper with a double-sided pattern. Now place a sheet of cardboard in front of you with the back side up and fold the edges of the long sides by 1 cm. You should get the same as in the 1st photo. To make the fold lines more neat and tidy, before making the fold, first press them with a knitting needle or other suitable tool from a manicure set. Next, fold the edges along the horizontal line. How to do this is shown in the 2nd photo. After that, make the folds along the vertical line (photos 3-4).
Fold the corners on both sides.The 5th photo shows how to do it correctly. Cut off all the excess from the inside so that our envelope closes better (photos #6,7). When unfolded, you should get the same envelope that you can see in picture #8.
Now take a sheet of thin colored paper.A quadrangle should be cut out of it, which will correspond in size to the main part of the envelope (see photo #9). Glue the resulting rectangle to the base, the final result can be seen in the next photo. In performing this step, you can use paper glue or double-sided tape at your discretion. Keep in mind one important point: you cannot glue the entire sheet at once, because you will not be able to bend the envelope later.
Our money envelope is almost ready.It remains to pay a little attention to various decorative elements. To close the envelope, glue a ribbon or a string. Later, you can tie a bow. Additionally, you can insert eyelets, and tie a decorative tag to the string and write your wish on it.
