Original handrails for stairs with your own hands
Stair railings are fairly standardized.Today, we usually think of them as wooden or metal rungs. While handrails can be a decorative detail, they are not typically the centerpiece of a staircase design or stand out in a dramatic way. The same cannot be said for homemade railings made from logs or rope.In fact, the idea is not that new. Many builders use branches and logs as temporary handrails for wooden stairs. These railings are shown in the interior of a country house, although the project itself is quite universal. Such rough, rustic-style handrails will look original in a modern urban interior of a city apartment, even if it does not have a staircase. To create it yourself, you will need a log of the appropriate length, several hooks-holders and fasteners.
The same principle applies to handrails made ofthick rope or cord, and the holders can be used as hooks for bags, umbrellas and other things. Simple to make and impressive as a result! Photos: apartmenttherapy
