Original wall clock with your hands for half an hour
Very beautiful and original designwall clock. Such a dial is quite simple to assemble, consumables are easy to find, and the price will be minimal. So be sure to try to make something similar for yourself, especially since there are detailed instructions for making it.To assemble a wall clock with your own hands you will need:
- Wooden sticks from Eskimo.
- Black and white beads of medium size.
- Nylon thread.
- The mechanism of the clock and hands (you can take it from any wall clock or buy separately in some stores).
It is advisable to have a screwdriver andthin drills. But you can do without them, although it will not be as neat, and you will have to suffer. Let's begin. First, prepare the wooden sticks. On one side, drill a hole near the edge, on the other, step back about a centimeter. It is important to drill so that the holes on all the sticks are made at the same distance from the edge.Next, we pass the thread through the holes that are located further from the edge and insert two beads between the sticks. In this way, we collect all the sticks, getting a circle.
Next, we connect the wooden plates on the inside of the future dial.
Then into the hole formed in the centerinsert the mechanism from the watch. Instead of a washer, we use a mini CD (it is hard to find it on sale now, but you can still find it in some stores). #gallery-1 { margin: auto; } #gallery-1 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-1 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-1 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Some mechanisms may requireinsert into the bushing hole. All original DIY wall clocks are ready. By the way, they can be a great interior decoration and a good gift (if you are not superstitious, of course).
