Our master class with a photo shows how to crochet an openwork heart for Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day is coming soon -patron saint of all lovers. This holiday has settled in our country quite recently, but has conquered everyone with its atmosphere of romance and love. On this day, it is customary to give your loved ones hearts and sweets, to confess your feelings. You can find a variety of gifts for Valentine's Day on sale, but the best gift is the one made with your own hands. In my master class, I want to offer you to knit a beautiful openwork heart. Its color can be any. And you can use it not only as a Valentine's gift, but also as an applique on children's things. For the heart you need:
- a little thread,
- hook,
- romantic spirit and warm feelings.
First, we connect 10 air loops into a ring. Now we will knit a long chain, which will consist of 54 air loops.
We will connect the last 10 loops of our long chain into a ring - we will make symmetrical loops at both ends. There will be 44 loops left between the ears.
Our next row will consist of single crochet stitches. To raise the row, we will knit three loops and knit 19 stitches into our ring.
Next, we knit a column in each loop of the chain - 21 pieces - exactly to the middle.
In the first central loop we knit three columns.
And in the second central (twenty-third loop) - also 3 columns. This will be the center of our future heart.
And we continue knitting – 21 columns in each loop.
And 19 columns - in a ring.
We will fix the last column to the chain and cast on 3 loops.
We will also attach this chain to the original one.
The next row we will knit from arches - 2 loops, a column, and so on.
We will knit columns along the ring at a distance of 1 column from the previous row.
There are 8 such arches in total.
But further we do not need to increase the number of loops, so between the posts we will skip two posts of the first row.
And so we knit to the center.
In the center between the posts we knit 6 loops.
Next we knit a mirror image of the first half.
We will make 3 connecting loops along the chain.
We will knit a dense row of columns again.Since we need to increase the number of loops on the “ears”, we will knit three columns in each arch, and the fourth column is in a column.
So we knit until our arches are at a distance of 1 column of the first row, that is 8 times.
Well, then we knit 2 columns in the arches, and the third one is in a column.
And so on until the middle.
From the center we knit 12 columns.
And we finish symmetrically.
Next we knit a row of arches. We knit it according to the same principle as the first arched row - on the "ears" we increase the number of loops, but then - no more.
We increase the loops in this row in 16 arches.
Then we knit evenly.
In the center, we again make 6 loops in the arch.
And we repeat in mirror image. Our product becomes like a heart.
Again a dense row made entirely of columns.
In this row we will not increase the number of loops on the ears, so we knit exactly to the center.
And from the central large arch we will knit 12 columns again.
And again we knit evenly until the end.
The last row is openwork, made of arches.
We start knitting the same way – we increase the number of loops 24 times.
Then knit evenly to the center and in the center.
We continue knitting with arches.
Then we increase the number of arches on the “ears” of the heart again. But, before reaching the end of 10 loops, we begin to connect the two parts of our heart.
To do this, we knit one air loop. We knit the next loop through the 5th from the beginning arch of the opposite half.
Another air loop and a column.
And so we connect the 4 arches of one half with the four arches of the other half.
We finish knitting the row and cut the thread.
This is the cute and tender heart we got.
