How to make a pallet for shoes with river shingle
Necessary materials and tools:
- rubber or plastic pallet for shoes (a kitchen tray with high walls, a wooden box, a metal box and the like);
- river pebbles (gravel, stones for the aquarium, decorative stones for the garden and landscaping, glass beads)
- optionally - glue or mortar for fixing stones.
Let's assume you have a ready-made rubber palletfor shoes with a ribbed surface, but you don't like dirty stains on them and the need to constantly wash the tray. Then the solution with river pebbles will be the perfect option!The whole process can be described in three words: just pour stones!
If there is no factory tray for dirty shoes,You can look for any form with low walls - from a wooden box to a kitchen tray. As a filler, you can buy any small decorative stones, river pebbles or gravel in stores.
It is better to wash the tray first.Then carefully pour a layer of pebbles and level it. Done! Now the dirt from the shoes will flow onto the tray through the pebbles, which will mask the drips. Although, of course, it is advisable to at least occasionally rinse both the tray and the stones with running water.
There is also an option to not just pour stones, butGlue them to the tray with glue or immerse them in mortar. This way, the pebbles will not fall out on the floor if you move your boots carelessly or wash the tray under the tap.
